hey everyone, hope you all enjoy this last vid of the month. one of the main talking points in this video was how i organize my ableton browser to work best for my workflow.
also another tip thingy: change your ableton skin every few weeks if you start to feel uninspired or out of ideas. whenever i'm feeling that way, i change my workspace up. that's one of those small things that can help bring inspiration back quickly, cuz i feel that when you're staring at the same colors or the sam...
hey everyone, hope you all enjoy this video/find it useful. one of the things i forgot to mention in this vid was about processing pads, my apologies! i'll explain it here but i'll make sure to go over that in my roundup video later this week.
what i typically do is add the ableton "multiband compression" preset, turn the mix down to like 50% or so, then do some basic mid/side EQ. i normally just boost the highs on the sides, cut out the lows, etc etc.

ALSO, another tip for mspectraldynamics: there's a spectral gate in there, so if your sound is really really noisy, it helps a lot to turn that on. it can also sound really cool if you turn it...
