Returning to Patreon in December - Urgent action required (and December Preview)

Good morning all

It seems Tribes still has some bugs and there are many people that don't want to deal with Tribes and I want to make sure my work is as accessible as possible, so as of December I'm going to turn my Patreon back live.  It'll be more work for me but I'll be updating in multiple locations now but it means you have the choice of MMF or Patreon.

Tribes tier pricing and an exclusive Tribes thank you gift

Some of you may have noticed that there is a bit of a difference between the price of my Tribes tiers and the price of my Patreon tiers.  This was not intentional but the result of a miscalculation on my part when factoring in currency conversions from £ to USD.  Unfortunately once the price has been set it is locked and by the time I had realised my error it was too late for me to amend it.

So sadly, after  2 Years of running my Patreon, I am going to be closing the doors to it for good!  No more updates or miniature releases on Patreon....

The other (better) news is that the reason I am closing the Patreon is because My Mini Factory have just launched a new service called TRIBES, and I’m running a beta launch with them and moving my monthly subscriptions over to there!

My Mini Factory TRIBES launch & important merchant update

Hey guys!  so I've been waiting for a while now and as you can probably guess MMF missed their original target date so there was no 1st August launch.  they've been working hard to get this right for a long time now and they obviously didn't want to launch an incomplete platform and cause disappointment.  That said, I've been told i should get the keys on the 25th so I can move in, make myself at home and be ready to launch for the 1st September!  woohoo!

Drizzle's Dad - Zecht, the Drow Weaponsmaster

Next month I'm going to carry on with this collection and add a pirate hunting captain with his hotshot wizard and a few more eccentric wizards who just don't even seem to live in the same reality as everyone else!

Almost done with the Flamboyant Drow Captain.  he doesn't quite feel lavish enough yet to me so I'm going to add a few more jewels, gems, chains, beads etc just to "bling" him up a bit.

Robby McRind, the Bounty Hunter with his dogs

Hey guys, I know I said I was going to do Zeck the Drow weapons master next, but I've been promising a buddy of mine that I'd sculpt him as a model with his dogs for ages!  I realised that I'd got an opportunity to use his likeness to sculpt a human bounty hunter who lost an ear and sadly a dog whilst hunting Drizzle.  He is one of the first humans to bear a grudge against drizzle when he leaves his underdark home.  

So I've sculpted 2 versions of this guy - one which is ...

Here's Drizzle's nemesis with just a little Assassins Creed flavour!  I tried to add a touch of elegance to his outfit befitting of a potential guildmaster.

There are 3 versions of him - one with hood up, one with no hood, and the final one with a bolero hat.

Next up is a human bounty hunter with a pack of dogs!

OK, so this is probably news to most of you as it seems to be a fairly closely guarded secret, but My Mini Factory are going to be launching their own artists subscription service on 1st August which essentially allows us to do everything Patreon does but with a MUCH better interface, added functionality and the minis will be instantly redeemed to your MMF library each month without need to use email codes and the like or needing to wait for me to have an admin day to pull down the patron use...

Leonin tribe (JULY) - WIP - Have your say!

Hey guys!  So for next months minis I'm going for a Leonin tribe/Pride and the first guy up will be this hulking beast of a barbarian!

The outfit design will be somewhere between African Tribe and Ancient Greek but I'd like to know from you guys what weapons you'd like to see, any accessories you think should be included and also who else should be joining his tribe.

I've already planned to do an armoured male fighter and a pair of female huntresses and a female shaman.

Sergi Rumbletummy - the final character in this set

Hey guys!  So I've finished the halfling Rogue complete with his mace, ruby pendant and missing fingers!  That's 6 high detail top quality models in the set for this month and I'm going to stop there to get a crack on with next months sculpts.  I was going to add a few of the villains into this set too, but I think I'll be adding to the Dales collection over the coming months in addition to the monthly models.

New Model for June! Gwen the Panther

A new version of Gwen to go with the new version of Drizzle!  second new sculpt of the day so far!  The team is shaping up now and is only missing a portly little halfling!  keep your eyes peeled for him shortly (haha, see what I did there?!)

Heroes of the Dale - Drizzle the Good Dark Elf Ranger

Hey guys!  Just a very quick update as its really late and I've got an early start tomorrow!  In amongst sorting out admin stuff for the Kickstarter I've managed to finish off my redux Drizzle.  I've upped the detail so he's on par with Kitty and Wolf now - they make quite a nice set together, but its not finished there!  A new version of Gwen the Panther and Booner the Dwarf will be joining them next.

Hey guys!  So there is a Kickstarter running by an old acquaintance of mine named Chris Loizou who I did some old school sculpting for years ago before I moved to Digital.  Its a card game which is stand alone and will eventually key into the Cursed Empire Table Top RPG game which is currently on its 3rd edition rewrite.  Its a very dark and gritty setting and there's a lot of great stories, graphic novels and wonderful artwork - very rich!
