If people had told Jackass that she would be participating in a offensive against the machines with a bunch of human pilots who flew around in death-defying mecha suits with the fire power of a thousand suns as well as YoRHa in its entirety, she would think that said android had overdosed in the E-drug and should lay it off.
A bit ironic considering she was the one that synthesized it and peddled it at competitive prices but still, if they overdosed and became dodderin...

Anxiety wasn't something new to White.
Her mentor had once told her that being nervous before a mission showed a degree of care towards the outcome. It meant that she still gave a fig about the lives of her androids, the resources that they spent on that mission, and the difficulties they would face. It meant she still cared and hadn't fallen into the coldness of unfeeling and calculating logic that some had resorted to. A safety net for their mental wellbeing.

"Where am I?" A2 demanded, the grip on her sword telling of her intention should Damian give her an answer that reeked of lies. He held his hand out placatingly, both to show A2 that he meant no harm and as a non-verbal signal to the others not to escalate any further and wait until Colonel Smith would arrive.
As strong as A2 was, she was surrounded by other androids such as Devola and Popola whose hands itched to bring out their weapons, 9S who was still in...

As that YoRHa unit, a boy to Smith's surprise, went to work on 2B and that other YoRHa android, the Colonel gave a sigh of relief. He placed a hand on Damian's shoulder, now clad in more casual clothes and seated in between the two sleeping YoRHa androids.
"They'll be alright, Sergeant. You did good work." Damian had flown back to the outpost, both androids in his arms like a metaphorical knight in shining armor carrying away the damsel in distress. The imagery was unimportant however c...

Perched atop a walkway, a lone white-haired android watched a fascinating scene below him.
"Brother...Brother," the little stubbie cried, its arms vainly shaking the fallen biped below it. No matter how much the it did it, the biped would not budge. From his perch, 9S watched the sight, curiosity and amusement in his eyes as the little biped stopped, talking to itself.
"Brother...wait a minute," It said, trying to soothe the deactivated biped b...

Her bed never felt more comfortable.
Commander White glanced at the stark ceiling of her own private quarters, having long since returned to the Bunker. She was bare and naked, very much like how she was first manufactured oh so many years ago. Her clothes were in a pile at the corner of her room, still crumpled and dirty. It was a contrasting image, from the prim and proper view she had cultivated to her actual private habits. Though, her neglect of personal maintenance stem...

Damian's suit launched the opening salvo, the arm-mounted minigun fired, whirring its ominous song. Such was its power that the air would have burnt if they weren't already in the desert. The maso bullets were thrust and cratered the machine's thick armored plates. A2 and 2B rushed forward, their speed near matching. Barrelling forward, the YoRHa androids carved a path as the machine detached itself to engage the three.
Skittering and chittering, and with clawed legs, the mach...

A2 felt strange.
Following around a Resistance truck carrying boar meat was the most strangest thing she had done. Yet, she still did it regardless. A certain curiosity had gripped her. The Resistance barely went to the Desert and the goods it carried was perishable. Perhaps if it carried boots and other supplies, she would see that they were trying to supply their camps there but meat?
That was something to investigate.
She kept her distance,...

The skies roared with the fury of jet engines thrusting man and machine forward. 2B took the speed rather well, nestled comfortably on Damian's Yggdrasil, eyes scanning the horizon and the sands below.
"The desert. I love it." Damian remarked, his voice distorted by his suit's speakers. Despite that, 2B could hear the naked sarcasm from him.
"You dislike the desert, sergeant?" 2B asked, wondering if her voice could be heard as the Yggdrasil's thrusters dro...

Loud hissing woke her up.
Dr. Naoka Fujiwara awoke with a gasp as bright light and filtered air rushed through her nostrils. Her lungs went into overdrive as consciousness rushed into her thoughts. Her heart thumped into her chest as drums were, heavy and deep beats that echoed inside her body. Slowly by slowly, the thumping slowed into a gentle pace as memories rushed into...

Smith's eye slowly opened. He was on his bed, yet he wasn't alone. He felt bodies intertwined with his. A tuft of blonde, red, and black hair.
"Good morning," Devola greeted him, her body and breasts resting against his chest. Smith sniffed and took in the scent of musk and sex heavy in the air. He hummed, looking first to his left and found White sleeping peacefully on her side, her hourglass contour just a invitation for him to go spoon her in his embrace. To his rig...

The sun was high above the clouds, illuminating the husks and ruins of former Tokyo in warm, golden light.
It was a welcome comfort especially for the flora that gripped the grey remains of what was once a thriving metropolis. The grey choked by the earthy brown of the trees, its roots thick and brimming with life and trunk round and tall, some even reaching high into the heavens. But flora and shrubbery didn't interest A2. What her sights was set on was the horde...

Silence settled as data streamed back from the last unit. The final images of its existence that of being in a desert, trying to attack a android, when something heavy arrived from above and crushed it underneath its armored boot. Audio caught servo wines then the chattering whirr of a minigun unleashing its deadly payload at other units.

Nights in Liyue tended to be peaceful. After the hustle and bustle of the morning and afternoon markets, night was the moment where the most intense trading and dealing of the Nation of Commerce would rest. Liyue worked hard, yes. But they rewarded that hard work with rest and relaxation.
Such were the thoughts of Maiha as she lowered the box of supplies she brought into storage. Sighing in satisfaction, the girl looked on in pride at the perfectly arranged and symmetrical way she had...

The energy of the mess hall eventually settled as the pilots finished their meal and slowly began to drift away with their android hanger-ons, leaving the Mess Hall empty save for the Colonel and his entourage. Striding across the battlefield, Damian's suit whirred and whined as it took tentative steps on the sand, scanning the ruined sands. Whatever OPFOR wanted to throw at them, it seemingly ran out of bots to send. While this was supposed to be a time for respite, Damian knew that it was only a matter of time before the enemy sent another horde to throw at them. At her prodding, the full arsenal that the Resistance brought to bear opened up in its terrible salvo like the start of the armament orchestra. More heavy caliber machine guns had sprung up, a wellspring of staccato booms and .50 caliber rounds that pierced through machine fo...

White didn't know for what reason Smith would ask her to stay behind but experience had told her that when a superior officer would ask a subordinate to stay behind, it was either to give them a verbal tongue-lashing that would make them regret ever being activated or they were going to be congratulated and promoted. Or both.

Back in the Overseer's room, plans were being made and drawn. But not just that.
"Sir? Are you alright?" White asked again, noticing the far off look on Smith's face. Androids, from the average grunt to the highest ranked officer in the Army of Humanity all shared on singular purpose and that was to serve humanity. This oft meant that they were extremely sensitive to the mood and emotions of a human, should they actually encounter one. A quirk to ensure they could serv...

Outside the Overseer's office, androids of both Resistance and YoRHa stood guard either outside in the desert, making sure that not a single machine even came close to the bunker or inside the facility itself and keeping a careful and close watch to the hundred or so humans currently freezing in massive boxes that reminded the YoRHa androids of the terminals they used to fast travel.
As a Healer model, 12H could easily justify her presence down in the cryostasis chambe...

Colonel Smith was still seated and enjoying Devola's soup when the doors of the mess hall opened and in strode Anemone, eyes glinting in the light under her ethnic head-dress. She wasn't alone however as Smith's eyes fell upon a blonde woman with stern features clad in a flattering and revealing dress that showed way too much skin to have been acceptable to any military in the Old World. Perhaps standards were a bit relaxed here, not that the artistic part of him did not appreciate...
