Finally this is the video in which I explain to you why THAT THING happens + all the possible solutions.
Basicly Blender gives you a bad surprise after days of render: big glitches everywhere.
This happens when making deformations and / or character animations, cloth simulations, metal deformations with Rbdlab, and so on...

Part 2 of using RBDLab in Blender for making a complete crane destruction simulation with metal deformation.
Also a great occasion to make a fresh overview of the new version of rbdlab, since it has been updated for good.
In this workflow I show you how to make a serious simulation that would include multiple parts deformation + metal cables dynamics + activators.

All of us happened to be in that situation: full cgi scene in Blender, gorgeous lighting, loads of objects in the scene, aaand render times take forever.
For 1 single frame.
Especially when it comes to volumetric lights (to which Im addicted), the so called godrays, render times go crazy.
Here is an alternative quick solution that cuts drasticly your render times and give you gorgeous renders with volumetric lights at the same time!
My new fresh workflow for making destruction simulations in Blender with the help of this free little addon included already in Blender.
Useful for combining togheter rigged characters and physics!

Yup I used chatGPT to make an addon for faster simulations in Blender!
It provides much faster simulations, and replaces loads of manual work with just 1 click.
I actually had to fight 8 hours with chatgpt to make it work properly lol.
In the attachments you can download the text to copy-paste in Blender as mentioned in the video (its a text file, so probably windows will alert you that it might be a virus, but I ensure you that its not lol )

A cool simple solution for a very common problem with destruction simulations:
when making destruction sims in Blender, most of the time your fractured object looks really bad already before the moment of destruction, or either sometimes is somehow impossible to enhance the quality of the cracks for some reasons.
Here we fix it!
Of course using the amazing RBD lab addon for Blender.

How I removed the Pisa tower from real drone footage, in order to make a destruction simulation.

Here I show how to definitly fracture objects that have complex geometry, which is something in which people normally get stuck!
I already made a tutorial about this topic in the past, but in this video I show some new tricks that work great.
Of course using the amazing RBD LAB addon.
I would add also, of course before everything you should simplify your geometry (a 3d scan is not ready for fracturing xD)

This tutorial is for all the people that "if I try to do something like this my pc it would explode".
Of course powerful pc are better, but most people are missing crucial concept on how to optimize Blender, in first place.
Additional note: the "autosmooth" makes a huge difference in playback performance, like double framerate if its turned off! If needed, I would temporarily set it off while working, then switching it on before final render.
