Problem with Our Carbon Subframe...

Hey guys!

So after we got the subframe 90% installed and were about to attach the rear seat cowl we realized there was no bracket to hold the cowl in place...

I contacted Mani and he said these are actually built to be used with a mono-carbon top tail piece and not with the factory pieces BUT those aren't made for tail lights etc. 

So the best option was for Dado to fabricate and build a bracket which is what we did!  He actually used his laser forge to build a cus...

Installing Our Carbon Race Rear Subframe!!!

Hey guys!

So we finally have the carbon rear subframe prepped enough and the brake lines installed so that we can put the subframe on the bike!

This turned out to be much more work than expected and unfortunately we still aren't finished with the subframe install BUT we made a ton of progress in this episode.

If all goes well we should be able to get the bike back together in the next video and then we can start on the brake upgrades for the front and rear!

Carbon Fiber Brake Lines Installed!

Hey guys!

While we had the subframe off we decided it was the perfect time to install some of our carbon fiber brake lines!  This is something we've never done before and these things are super trick!

The rear hoses we replaced were literally rubber so I know these are going to make a massive difference.  I will say installing these was pretty tedious but I hope you guys enjoy me sharing more of the process.

Installing Rare Carbon Part on Our R1M!

We are finally back to work!  Dado was out of town all week on vacation so we weren't able to film until this morning.  It actually worked out as we were waiting for this piece which is soooo much better than the plastic piece we originally had.

Now the carbon subframe with this carbon undertray looks AMAZING!  I will say this is a lot of work though and I don't think I've ever seen these two pieces on a street legal R1M.

Race Carbon Subframe for the R1M!!!

Hey guys!

In this video we unbox our new racing carbon rear subframe for the R1M and man is this thing gorgeous.  Unfortunately it only saved 1 lb BUT Mani actually has another carbon piece that will be arriving in the next few days that will get rid of the terrible plastic piece and help save even more weight!

Unfortunately since we need that other carbon piece we are pretty much at a stand still until it arrives.  He's also got our entire brake upgrade kit coming along...

Removing Our R1M Rear Subframe!!!

We are about to enter an intense part of this build.  We are starting with replacing our rear stock subframe with a carbon race subframe which I've never seen done before.  We will then be upgrading the entire brake setup including doing carbon braided brake lines.  And then we will be upgrading our entire handbar set up as well.

Blue Samco Hoses Installed!

Hey guys!

This is a patreon only video just for you guys!  There is a ton of really great information in here regarding changing your radiator hoses, emptying/refilling your coolant and lots more.

Love the blue hoses they add a really nice touch and will last much longer than the stock black hoses.

Luimoto Seat Cover and More Carbon Installed!

In this episode we install a super cool luimoto seat cover with alcantara, feux carbon and beautiful blue accents that really add a nice touch to the bike.

We also installed some carbon pieces on each side of the cockpit that enhance the premium feel even more!

Adding More Sexy Carbon to the R1M!

Installing Carbon Frame Covers!

Hey guys!

In this episode we installed a set of carbon frame covers along with a carbon side fairing piece that goes with the frame covers.  I'll be honest I'm not always a huge fan of frame covers but these fit really well and greatly enhance the look of the bike.

They will also help protect the frame if you dropped the bike which is important because here in PA if the frame even gets scratched that can sometimes total the bike.

Our R1M is an Absolute Weapon!

Hey guys!

Finally had a chance to get out on the R1M and the Panigale V2 and it was a lot of fun.  It's great to have two different bikes to ride because it really helps showcase the differences between them.

After getting off the V2 the freaking R1M felt like a damn rocketship. haha  In all seriousness though the R1M is really turning into a beast of a machine.  It feels light, agile and has a ton of power.

Prototype Carbon Belly Installed!

In this episode we installed a prototype carbon belly for the R1M and it looks absolutely incredible!  I really like how it fills in the space left from removing the massive stock exhaust and muffler.  It gives the bike more of a race bike feel and i love it.

Forged Front Wheel Installed!

Wanted to do a Patreon only video just for you guys to show our thanks for your continued support.  Tried to give as many tips and tricks in this one as we could.  The front wheel is installed and shaved another half pound off the bike.

Superlight Chain & Sprocket Installed!

Hey guys!

In this episode we installed a new front sprocket to match the rear and a new 520 DID chain in gold.  Love the gold chain against the new blue wheels it looks epic!  The new chain and sprocket also shaved another 1 lb of rotational mass bringing out total so far to 5 lbs!

We also installed new blue chain adjusters to match the wheels which really help to tie it all together.

Next we will get the front wheel swapped and I can't wait to see how much weight ...

$4k Blue Forged Wheels Installed!!!

Hey guys!

These limited edition marchesini blue forged aluminum wheels are absolutely STUNNING!!!  I'm so glad Mani suggested these wheels because they look incredible.  The rear wheel and sprocket set up shaved 4 lbs over the stock wheels which were already magnesium so that's very impressive.

Next video we will finish swapping the front wheel and 520 chain and sprocket conversion which should shave another 3-4 lbs!

Our Bren Flashed R1M Makes Big HP Gains!!!

Hey guys!

Had a chance to put our R1M on the dyno this weekend and it made some massive gains!  In stock form it did 165hp and after the bren flash, akra full system and sprint filter it made 185hp!

I think it could make more power if we had better conditions in the dyno room as well.  When Bren had the same setup on their bike it made 191hp and considering the conditions we had and how few miles our bike has (400) I'd say ours is right on par with their numbers.

Hand Delivering the Panigale to the Winner!

This was a big day for us as it was the first time we've ever been able to hand deliver the bike to the winner.  It's also the first time that the winner has decided to SELL THE BIKE from the beginning.

First Ride Bren Flash and Akra Exhaust!!!

We took the beast out to see how it feels with the bren flash and OH MY GOD its literally night and day difference.  I thought going from stock exhaust to akra was big but this honestly feels just as big of a jump that's how good it is.

Our Bren Flashed R1M Shoots Flames!!!

We got the bren flash installed and the bike feels AMAZING!  The start up feels great and when you rev the bike it spins up INSTANTLY.  The bike still shoots massive flames as well which makes me super excited.

Next video we will get out for a ride on this beast so we can see how it feels with the flash.  And then we can put this beauty on the dyno and find out how much power we gained!

First Ride with the Akra Titanium Exhaust!!!

Back in action on the R1M with the first ride with the Akra full titanium exhaust and man it is a night and day difference over the stock system!  

It's actually a little quieter than I thought it would be when you're not hard on the throttle which is nice because then you can still hear music or people you are talking to BUT when you get on the gas it comes alive and sounds amazing.

Race Filter & Flash For Our R1M!

Hey guys!

In this episode we started with removing the servo motor and cords which shaved another 1 lb off the bike!  We then were able to install our sprint high flow filter which was actually really cool to see and shaved another half lb over the stock filter.

We then started work on the flash and realized we actually have to send our stock flash file to brentuning so they can then create our flash and send it to us which I sent out today.

Akra Full Titanium Exhaust Install!!!

We finally got the akra full titanium exhaust installed and its freaking AMAZING!!!  It shaved 20 lbs off the bike and sounds incredible!  It freaking shoots flames too!

I can't wait to get the sprint filter and bren flash installed next so we can put the bike back together and take it for a ride!

Removing the Super Heavy R1M Stock Exhaust!!!

Hey guys!

Needless to say I'm super excited for this because the next episode we can finally install the akra full titanium exhaust!!!

The stock exhaust weighed in just under 30 lbs...but since we didn't remove the servo cable and motor yet I think it will end up being right at 30 lbs.

I'd imagine the akra system will be 10 lbs or less which is going to shave a lot of weight not to mention the sound and power we will gain.

R1M on the Dyno!

Hey guys!

Finally had a chance to get the R1M onto the dyno.  It ended up making 168 hp in stock form which is a very solid number.  It's rated at 195 hp from factory so factoring in 12% drivetrain loss puts it around 170 hp so we are right where we should be.

I think with the full titanium akra exhaust, spring filter, bren flash, 520 chain conversion etc we should pick up 10 to 15 hp which will put it around 180hp which will be very respectable for this bike.  Comb...

First Service for the R1M!!!

Hey guys!

The first service is always an exciting video for me because it means we can finally start performance mods once we get the bike on the dyno for the stock HP numbers!

I was supposed to take the bike over to the dyno today BUT of course I woke up to a severe weather alert so now it will have to wait till Tuesday instead....

But at least the first service is done and the bike is ready for upgrades!  The full titanium exhaust and tune will be the first mod after ...

Final Ride on Our $80,000 Carbon V4 SP

R1M Gets Blacked out Radiator Guards!

We are currently in the middle of a winter storm so I figured its a great time to post a video for you guys.  In this episode we got some blacked out radiator guards installed onto the R1M to help with protecting those important components before we put more break in miles on the bike.

We also added a super cool carbon gas cap with a nice blue accent which I absolutely love.  Dado and I both already enjoy working on this bike as its much easier than the Ducati....
