Patreon Maintenance

Hello. This happens every so often; Patreon goes down for maintenance and then my browser doesn't know when it's back. I think it's a cache thing.

Because of this, I dunno when Patreon came back. I DID make the Top 5 in time for Early Access, but with my browser not telling me it was up again, I couldn't post it.

Similarly, I have an update for PokéSins Ep59, but I'll wait until the next one and talk about it then.

This is one of the most important G-Logs I've ever done, so I'd say it's well worth everyone's time to check it out. I may be biased, but if I had to spent 6 hours rendering and re-rendering to overcome MoviePlus' terrible bloody issues, I'm gonna recommend it as much as possible.

I'm sorry to say that I don't think I'll have time to get the episode ready for this side of Christmas. It's almost 4am and it's not even half edited yet, so I can kill myself tonight and perhaps have it done with 3 hours early access or take some time and give more of a gap.

If I could, I'd switch it with the 24th's video, but that's the Christmas Special...

I'll move this ep to the first slot after my two days off for Christmas and I'll put a different video for today.

I forgot to update on progress yesterday. That's fine, though, because it's done now.

PokéSins Ep57 Update - Recorded

I did a lot of work on this one today. Scripted, recorded and (hopefully soon) audio edited.

I don't have a lot to say about this so far, but I have some notes for the BTSF. This is an interesting episode.

It should be out for early access within a day or two. Public release the day after. I'm currently planning for one more episode before christmas, but it'll be the last of the year whether it falls before the 25th or after.

I re-recorded Ep56 on my old headset. My new new mic arrived today...while I was recording. I decided to just continue as I was.

In other news, I'll be doing a G-Log in a few weeks to gauge reaction to a plan for PokéSins in the new year. No details yet, but I'm unsure what people will think of it.

PokéSins Ep56 Update & Mic Continuation

This episode is scripted and technically recorded...but...

If you read the previous post, I talked about my new mic. I recorded Ep56 as well as the next Slime Rancher session using this new mic (a Samson Co1U), but I think I tweaked the audio wrong. It's ended up very boomy, where my voice seems to distort a bit at higher volumes. I THINK boomy is the right term...

Extensive googling and some testing has reflected that I may have had the mic too close and I may have sound reduced it too ...

Schedule Tweaks

I might not need to write this, but my schedule has been hectic the last week or so. I don't know if it's been possible to tell that from the outside, but I thought I'd explain the situation.

As you may or may not know, it was my birthday a couple of days ago. There's also been a lot of work going on at my house over the last couple of weeks; reflooring, rewiring, hammering, drilling, furniture being made and moved... It's been noisy and it's been hard to breathe.
