Building Specificity

Reminder that you only have seconds to grab the audience attention and to get your ideas across. You’re setting yourself up for a difficult time if your character has nothing to do but stand/sit there just delivering a line. Give them something to do! Where are they? How they get there? What’s the purpose of the moment here? Is the character trying to vent? Does it matter who the secondary character is? If so, what’s their relationship? Is there hostility?

Just another refresher on performance. Spend enough time going through all these important variables for your characters.

Workflow Demo (master study - tangled)

This is a demo recently done in my mentorship class. I took a clip from Tangled and tried to recreate it like a master study. Feel to practice like this (obviously not use it as your own work) to learn how to observe and also execute. It's not meant to be a 1-1 frame copy, rather, understanding what choices were made and doing it on your own. Enjoy!
