Hey all! I mentioned last week that I spent some time pitching a graphic novel to agents on the twitter event #DVPit (I think it's short for "diverse voices pitch"). Over the course of two days (one for YA and one for GNs), I wrote a series of brief pitches for Wartorn, something I've been noodling on for ... oh my god, six years. It's come a long way.

So, for those who don't know (probably most of you), I've been kicking around the idea of pitching Tamberlane to agents, just to see if I can. I've had a little bit of interest in it from the last DVPit (a quarterly-ish twitter event where you pitch to agents), but ultimately I have decided not to go forward.
I read some great advice that your webcomic and passion project should remain your own, and focus on pitching things that are specifically written for marketability/etc. Also...

My hard drive containing all my Tamberlane files corrupted and died. But good news, I keep it backed up in a couple places! So everything's fine. I just lost a couple days to troubleshooting and I'm losing a couple more to resyncing and downloading, but I can still do work on the sides while I wait.
Either way, here's the sketch page for page 215! I really enjoy drawing Peek. he's a cute cute deer.

Okay, I hate doing this but it's necessary! Going to be taking a break from regular posting until April 1st, so public and $1 patreon updates won't be available until then. I'm going to take my time this month to work on my buffer and catch up on some other duties.
