So, uh, once upon a time in high school, I had this webcomic, called Tar and Feathers. It was an experiment in what would happen if I never planned anything beyond the next page. Head's Up!

The switchover for this Patreon to comic-centric is imminent! Presently I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this, whether that's creating a new Patreon and nuking this one, or editing this one to better fit it. Either way, I'll let you know when I know! And finally, still working on what I want Lulu to look like (or if she's even still going to be named Lulu, I have no idea hrhghgh). Also still not sure if I want to go for llamataur or deertaur; llamataur is certainly more unique, but the cheek spots/freckles makes more sense on a deertaur. EH, doesn't matter much!

Another interesting development recently is that I realized that my team and world was so heavily non-human that it was strange to have a human lead. So Aika's changed to a Wendigo, which seems to be working out well so far!

So for the last month or so I've been working on the bare bones of my comic in earnest: worldbuilding, clawing my way through a 0th draft, getting character concepts done, fleshing out characters, etc. Very little of it is ready to see the light of day and it's constantly evolving, and as a result of both that and my hammering away at TSSSF, I haven't had a lot to show for this Patreon recently. Hey guys! October was a little dry art-wise, since I was focused heavily on finishing commissions. (Although I did power through about 30 commissions, so that's cool!) I'm going to be at Ponyville Ciderfest this weekend, which means creating the monthly folio for last month will be postponed until after. This month, I may be spending most of my not-job-related time working on the script for that comic (yay, NaNoWriMo impetus), but I have a few pieces at least that I'd like to do! I'll keep you...

Hey guys; sorry for the general silence. It's been a busy busy month with commissions and this logo and helping my sister in law with some things at her wedding. I designed this logo for Horrible People Productions, because it needed something official and we're working on all the paperwork for making it a real business. I spent a day deepening my knowledge of typography, and it paid off a bit.

The Bone Mistress

On PonyMUSH, there needed to be some kind of canon about death in case it came up during play. So we came up with the Bone Mistress.The Bone Mistress is the guise that Luna takes in order to calm the newly dead and take them to live in the sky as a new star. She's a pony reaper of sorts, but of the benevolent sort.It's been a long time since I've last drawn her and I felt it was time to finally do her justice. Especially since it's October and the skeletal theme fits!

AT FREAKING LAST, this is finally done!!
