Vari & Wolf Doodles

I've been going crazy not being able to draw while going through this pain flare right now. I finally managed to pencil a page today, and since hubs and I were both having a bad day, I opted to draw some cute feel-good drawings of our characters.

Vari and her werewolf boyfriend, Ephum. (He's usually an au ra -- a dragon/human hybrid from FFXIV). But here's his wolf form who is sort of a separate consciousness and sort of not. Just some fun doodles.

Wow only 20 pages away from 400 pages. What the heckies

This scene has undergone SO many changes, rewrites, and edits, and this page was no exception. Originally, you could see Honey and Timmo in the window in panels 2 and 3, all the way up until the shading process. But with the way they're positioned in the room, their backs are to the window and having them face forward just was too jarring. I tried to put myself in mind of it being like a play, kind of metaphorical, but nah, it just...

Hey y'all, sorry for the drought in new pages! The next scene requires 3 backgrounds, and I've been chipping away at them. Unfortunately, I am also experiencing a pretty severe bout of insomnia/poor sleep, so I am extremely out of sorts and non-functional. I've been taking more care to rest up lately instead of working through it, and as a result, pages are slow.

When I did the previous page, the decision to have Piper stick out from the panels wasn't the only thing that changed from the thumbnails. The final panel of "But... it's *Cur*..." was a belated addition, too. Originally, the scene was supposed to end on that page, but I decided it needed one more to bridge the gap, because that panel addition left an unfinished feeling, like it was inviting more. So I decided to underscore Piper's feelings and position here.

Survey, pt 2: Rewards!

Hey y'all! I hope your January has been going well!

Thank you so much for your answers to our last survey! We've been mulling them over and considering how we want to tackle the soft revamp of this Patreon. We're taking it slow, letting life and work settle out and stabilize a bit more before we take action. Giving us some space to work within reduced demands (and catch up on overdue rewards) has been a breath of fresh air after last year's full sprint to the finish.
