New Design Projects

Dear Patrons,

As I realized that it is very important to mass produce the microtonal guitar to make it widespread acroos the Globe, I've spent a lot of times working on new designs. I have 3 projects: 

1) automatic microtonal guitar: This is going well. I've just applied for a fund at Istanbul Technical University. I bought some shape memory wires from the money you gave me to have a research on the fretboard.

Peak Moment for the Microtonal Guitar

Dear Patrons,

Finally I've finished editing the documentary of the Würzburg event. I don't think that I could be able to organize such an event in my life time :) 5 university guitar departments, a new music ensemble, 12 composers writing 12 pieces for microtonal guitar.... once in a life time :)

Frets for the Competition

Dear Patrons,

Thanks to your generous monthly support, I bought 300 frets, 40 envelopes and sent the virus to 10 countries and 30 cities across the Globe! Until 31st January I am sure the frets will return in Video format to me for the competition :)

One good news is I am almost completing the Introduction to Microtonal Guitar book co-authored with my friend Fernando Perez. It will be published in Barcelona in English. I'll let you know when it is published.

2nd International Microtonal Guitar Competition

Dear Patrons,

Finally I've shared the announcement video on YouTube. At the first competition, some 50 people wanted free frets. We will see the feedback for this one. I already received 5 addresses this morning! By the way, if anyone of you would like to try the small frets, let me know and I'll send some frets to you as well.

Back in Istanbul and New Competition

I am back in Istanbul after a year in Bristol. Good to see family and friends but bad to see the polluted and chaotic Istanbul. Dear Patrons,

I just moved back from Bristol to Istanbul and will spend at least 2 years here. I am an associate professor at Istanbul Technical University and founded the microtonal guitar department in 2014. Back from Germany

Dear Patrons,

I've just come back from Germany to Bristol and heading back to Istanbul after a year next week. The event in Würzburg was a peak moment for the microtonal guitar. I can't imagine myself again gathering 5 universities, Hezarfen Ensemble and 12 composers composing for microtonal guitar. The event was so fruitful. I am working on the documentary of the event. What I'm doing

Dear my 14 Patrons,

I hope you are doing well. I am so happy about the success of the latest microtonal Bach experiment video. More than 160000 views and many comments! That's why I am planning a new video: Microtonal Renaissance Experiment. I think I'll play Guardame Las Vacas in 3 different tunings. If you have some opinions, please let me know.
