Character notes: salt and pepper are both “incomplete” super soldier projects from Russia. On the run in Cold War America, the gals keep “accidentally” having to John Wick their out of situations.
As failed experiments, they got both some sweet perks and some weird flaws. Of the perks, Pep has impressive strength, so it’s no feat for her to literally…stack bodies. 🤭

Constantly “finding” my characters through a bajillion doodles. I think I’m finally getting to the point where I’m starting to feel good about how I’m going to illustrate for the comic. Just got back from DARC LECTC-1 class. Every time I go to Truth Island (facility nickname), I’m reminded of what actually matters and how even strangers can come together to work in incredible ways.
