Alien shit part 3

The tail is made of 10g steel wire and due to its weight and flexibility, holds shape and articulates just enough to seem organic. The details of white were actually done with caulking and worked surpringly well to give texture to the piece.

Xenomorph part 2

Here is a close up of my crappy (yet somehow effective) engineering. To counterbalance the weight of the suit, a sort of chest rig needed to be made that was comfortable for the wearer and that could be adjusted to fit different body types. Nylon straps fuse amazingly well with hit glue and are actually really strong, so they got used for most things. The wood is pine so it's nice and light, and the PVC pipe makes it easy to insert and support removable pieces!

Some sweet Xenomorph bts part 1

So here's the first portion of my Xenomorph makin adventures: It all started with some scribbles, then a paper-filled garbage bag in the shape of a giant dick, some EVA foam, and woodglue paper mache and cheese cloth to make it...um...stiff. See part 2 for the rest of the body.

I'm trying to do a lot of fashion research for this because I fucking love the 60s aesthetic (true fashion, not all that hippy shit. Don't be mislead) and can't wait to pour my heart (and flair) into some epic threads art for this. 😌
