I will be honest; I got pretty scared at the beginning and thought there's no way I can finish this in one month ^^; But I did my best, held back my desire to add a ton of details, and I could finish it in time :D I also tried not to lineart a few things to make other things pop a bit more :)

We have reached a new chapter! :D The previous one was the most action-packed chapter I've drawn in the comic so far. Actually, it required more preparation than all the previous chapters, in more ways than one. Unfortunately, I haven't drawn any pictures full of action in a very long time (comic book or not), and I'm glad my gears didn't rust, and in fact, they probably worked better than I thought they would.

I wanted to draw Mira as a basketball player for quite some time now :D I've always imagined her as a sporty girl, so in a modern environment, she would probably do some sport. And because she is very fast and agile, I think basketball would be a great competitive sport for her :)

Some sketches are a challenge even if they are just sketches too, and this one was like that too :D I had to come up with a completely different background twice to make it interesting, to be able to fit all the girls in, and to keep the perspective from being boring. I tried to redo the old image with the girls bathing, but I wanted to make it look a bit more interesting in more ways.

This drawing started when I didn't know what I really wanted to draw. I just sketched a curved tree at first and threw more lines around it to see what I could get out of it. I was going to put a beautiful and charming mermaid on it, but somehow I started thinking that the picture could have a darker, more menacing mood.
On the other hand, I often draw really vibrant, colourful pictures, so this picture was such a great practice for the opposite!

And here it is, the very first sketch of 2025! :D I'm not going to lie; turning the kittens into snakes turned out to be a much bigger challenge than I anticipated, and I'm not completely satisfied with the result...
