I realised that Shani's long hair would often be in the way during the time she's pleasing her husbands, so I thought that one of the Darnells should always grab or hold her hair. I think that's very convenient and also very romantic :D

Beats of Life [WIP] pt. 1.

Here's the finished lineart of the vote winner :) To be honest, it wasn't as much work as I anticipated, because I decided to just paint Luna without a proper lineart, to give her a more painting and grafiti-like feeling :) I also messed around with her proportions a bit, and look, Zaphy has a rad baseball cap now! :D I'll give her some cool shoes too, because slippers just don't go well with her new cap :D And to be honest, after coming up with some modern clothes for the characters, I'm a b...

Pillow War

For some reason, I feel like I couldn't colour the image the way I really wanted. I wanted to try a slightly different colouring style (like in the Summer Snack picture with the shark girl on the beach), but unfortunately it didn't work out. Maybe next time! But it doesn't change the fact that I'm still very happy that you guys helped me realise this really silly, comical idea about the girls, and I hope you like it at least half as much as I do :D

It was difficult to make this page in many ways, but I am satisfied with the result. Coming up with the designs wasn't easy because I didn't have as much time to come up with them as I was anticipating. But at the end, I'm happy with them!

Anyway, this page pretty much reflects an important thing from my character design philosophy. I like to spend time on designs even if it's quite uncertain that the characters will appear again in the future at all. ...

A Nice Day in the Cult

If you look at this picture I'm sure it won't be a big surprise that I'm incredibly into the recently released Cult of the Lamb video game :D The mix of incredibly cute and incredibly violent things in an adorable art style is really up my alley, so I just had to make a little tribute :) I've been working on this picture since day one of the game's release, but because I was making this in my free time, and I have very little free time nowadays, it took me a bit longer than I anticipated... ^...

It happened that Joseph had another suggestion that was very suitable to one of my ideas :D

This is another exercise in hope to improve my ability to create isometric like images ^^ Unfortunately, the perspective of the floor is a bit off, but Jade's round and friendly figure makes up for it, right? :D
