Here's the finished page 56.

I would like to point out some very important things about Nigel's race, the rabiceros: as you can see, they only drink beetroot juice, they only eat swill, and they defend themselves with giant chocolate bars. If you look closely, you can see that Nigel already ate a bite out of his shield.

All right, don't take this serious please, but my sense of humour just went crazy looking at the finished page :D

Slowly the whole picture is coming together! Now Alex and Alma are finished too :) I had no problem with Alex, he was kinda easy, especially because his colors and some features are very similar to Poseidon's. Alma was a bit tougher though, I had the same problem with her as I did with Stella. Athene has a lot of blue with yellow armor, but Alma is also yellow, just like the armor. I chose Inca and mesoamerican design for this house, because it looks a lot different than Chili's village. There everything was made of wood, and every building was kinda round. I wanted to do something different for Nigel's people.

Conan the Barbarian

I made this sketch for my hubby. I'd like to draw things he loves. We both love Conan, and tried to create an atmosphere that would be faithful to the character.

And just as a side note: when I made this picture, I played a TON of Monster Hunter and I think it kinda shows :D And I think Conan strangling huge lizards to death with his bare hands fits the character well :D

Royal Flush

Isn’t it annoying when you think you’re better in something, but pretty slowly you realize that's not the case? In card games, this becomes apparent very quickly :D And I’m not good at card games… XP

Is it embarrassing if a snail defeat you in a card game? In Arthur's world, maybe it is :D I don't know how smart I want to make the snails there, but since I want to give them hands so they could use tools, they would probably be smart. But they don't seem that way at first glance....

Arthur Sketches and Brainstormings

Arthur and His Friends

Meet Arthur and his friends! They would be the cast of one of my stories. There's no story (yet), but I just like thinking and working on it time to time, and showing the results to you of course :D This time I tried to figure out their colors, and I think I get closer to their final designs step by step. Demon Gal Concept

I feel I have an affinity drawing goats, so I tried to make a goat demon gal. I really liked the idea that her chest was a mouth full of teeth! As you can see I decided to finish Stella next, because I thought she would be a lot easier than Mira. At the end I was kinda right, and kinda wrong.I was right, because Stalla had a lot less detailed than Mira, but as it turned out, I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the shadows with her.
