"The Blackest Lantern"

So ObscureCultist suggested a few lantern ideas, but I wanted to make Rah'Jan for such a long time, and this was a perfect opportunity :D Of course there is no other choice but to give him the role of a black lantern, the role of death :) I saw this black lantern god thing called Nekron, and I loved that his lantern was merged together with his scythe, and I really wanted to make something similar :)

Tree of Life - Small Delay

Tree of Life - Meet The Imps

When I started drawing the third prologue chapter, I realized maybe I'll need a little more direction about the character's designs if I have draw them often. Something like a small character sheet or reference, so to say.

Tristan (the monkey kid) looks a bit different then his adult self, so I thought drawing him down once like this should be a good idea.

I came up with the imp team designs on the fly, so I tried to keep them easy.

"Ensafir Evie"

So Wohoo wanted to see Evie drawn as my alien race, an ensafir. First I wasn't even considering making this sketch, because I was sure I couldn't give her look back as an ensafir. But somehow the thought just kept pestering me in the back of my mind. So I gave it a shot, and I think I could make her very recognizable. So at the end, I'm really happy how this one turned out :)

So Frosty suggested a picture, where the Godtamer's creature from the Hollow Knight game is trying to get some petts from his master. There are still a lot of characters I still haven't drawn from the game, and it's always fun to experiment with them :)

So as you can see, Tristan has an absolutely fantastic sense of time, because he knows EXACTLY how much time passed while he was asleep. I wish my sense of time was at least half as good :(

Wishes 2 has officially ended, and what's next

Another comic has reached the end, and the characters reached a milestone in their life as well :) Of course this comic means a milestone for us too, with even more experience. Experience gathering is never over, there is always something that can be improved. That's how we feel with every comic project. Our aspiration is always present, and we give in everything we can!

And here it is guys, the very last page for Wishes 2 :) I know there was a dog on the roof too, but let's just say he got mad and left because he had to do work with these two imbeciles :D

Anyway, another comic came to an end. I know the story for this one wasn't too much, but we really wanted to make a comic about their very first steps on the way to their new life. And we planned this as a very short and simple comic. This time we wanted something a bit more simple than Prophecy was.<...

Snail Creature Doodles

Once I had a sudden idea of a snail that is literally a moving hotel, and then one idea followed the other. I very rarely see any art of snails anywhere, and I wanted to change that a little bit. I think snails have so much hidden potentials XD They can be pets, warriors, hotels, even soap dispenser! To tell truth, we have a plastic snail shaped soap dispenser at home, and you have to push his shell to get soap XD I frickin love it, and it was a good inspiration :D

To tell the truth, I really enjoyed working on Jade. Not just because it was a LOT more simple than the previous one, the Hall of Ancients (and this one has no background either), but because I could work with a body type I usually don't work with. So finishing this one was more fun than work :)
