I'll have to be completely honest, I'm REALLY proud how this page turned out. It's full of unusual perspectives and poses, yet I didn't struggle at all with them. I enjoyed drawing them, and somehow they really turned out looking very natural. So I can safely say that over all these years making comics, this one is one of my favorite pages I've ever done :)

So the "beehuahua" wasn't included in the original sketch, but I felt I just HAVE to add the little guy to the picture. For one reason, he looks adorable, and adds to Alma's "spoiled royal" personality. On the other hand, it gives a reason for Alma to leave the nice and cold castle in such a hot summer day: her cute little sugarmuffin needs a walk :D

So here you can see the very first occasion when this little baby marks Luna as her own. A bit later there will be puke, pee and poop as well. Because babies always make sure they marked their parents well :D But maybe Luna knows what she's up against. Maybe.

This was a simple gender bending suggestion, but man, I just love those! :D It's always so interesting turning a character into another gender while still keeping all of it's characteristics. I already made a little "tutorial" in this topic some time ago. It's almost completely finished, I just didn't have the time to make the last touches on it. Maybe soon though...

I'm sure you noticed that I added something new to the picture. I was really disappointed that I didn't include Alma's beehuahua in the first place... But I quickly fixed that :3 I think it really adds to the comical nature of the picture, that she's really just taking a walk with her dog in the summer heat :D

I don't know how many of you know, but I just recently upgraded my tablet to a newer, better version, and the very first thing I drew with it was this picture :) I was thinking what picture would fit the best to celebrate this new tablet. "Mad Drama Llama"

So the suggestion was about Rah'Jan, and how would he look with meat and skin on his face. I liked the idea, but I didn't want to "grow" his horns back, because as the suggestion said, I just wanted to give him a real face. But after finishing him like this, I realized that without horns, he looks more like a llama than a goat :D (That's where the title came from.)

This page really turned out bittersweet. I'm happy, because that was what I wanted to achieve :) And I just realized that this was the very first time (or I think it was) when I drew a baby and a very old person as well :D

I must say I'm very proud of how the first page turned out!

I added a few things that I didn't plan to in the first place, because I didn't know how to do them yet. When days ago I planned in my mind how the page would look like, I didn't expect how many other things it needed to look “complete”. But in the end I think I figured out everything to make the page really fit well with the characters and the mood. I'd like to share some of my realizations that led me to the result. The s...
