Oh, and one more thing. How do you add emotion to a character who only has a skull?
1. It's magic.
2. Or you just create parts on the skull that aren't too solid. Even a small adjustment to the shape of the skull can add a lot of emotions to the character.

Hi everyone! ^^

Let me present you a silly short comic, featuring a few of my personal characters. This was just a small side-project I made when I wanted to relax and recharge my batteries a bit, nothing more or less. The vibe I aimed for was that it’s hard to be a villain and enjoy the little things if somebody always disturbs you :D  

I have an upcoming comic which is still in work in progress (Tree of Life, I'm sure a lot of you know about that), it will be an action ad...

I'm really happy how her colors turned out, and I just love drawing these huge, massive, heavy jewelries with all kinds of shiny gems :D And I think I could find a fitting background color for her as well. I was having a really hard time with the background, I think I still have to practice how to do simple, but effective backgrounds.

The suggestion was simple, witch Stella on a broomstick. I missed the witchy Stella, so this one was a no brainer for me :] I didn't gave her high-heels in her original design, but I thought it would look good on her with this pose. So I might just use them again in the future :D

This was the very first live Q&A I've made, and it was quite an experience. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous, and it took me a lot of concentration to keep up with your questions, and with the chat. I still have to get the hang of talking to multiple people at once... ^^;...

"Biopunk Ratmax"

So Simone suggested anything within a biopunk theme, and I thought Max would be a good  subject for that :D I had to look up what biopunk really means, and I'll be honest, I didn't get any smarter... XP Basically, anything with body or DNA manipulation. So I tried to  approach it from a cyberpunk perspective, but with living, bug-like prosthetics instead of machine. I really like this whole "mutant limbs" thing, and I hope you like it too :)

This started as a small sketch, because I really want to draw Max a lot more in the futre. He doesn't get enough love from me. Anyway, as I was drawing this one, I kinda went overboard with the coloring, then I decided to make this into a sort of background color practice. I think it turned out great to be honest :)
