5/25 - No Short

I hate to do this to you guys back to back, but I admittedly got totally carried away with editing chapter 4 and writing chapter 5 and planning it out that I completely forgot about getting a short done for you for this weekend. If by some miracle I finish one tonight I will definitely post it, but I'm not making promises.

On that note, chapter 5 is about 3000 words long so far and it's only about a third of the way done, I'd say. If that. So I have been productive in at least that aspe...

5/24 Chapter 4 early release

5/24 Author Check-in

So today I'll be releasing Chapter 4 for the Agent tiers and above. It'll go live for everyone on itch.io next week on the 31st.

Chapter 5 Progress notes: I've gotten quite the running start with chapter 5. I'm not sure if I ever said it here, but chapter 5 will be the Kestrel's introduction and most of the chapter will revolve around them.

I'm really excited for you guys to meet them.

5/20 - Chapter 4 Early Access

So, tentatively, I'll be releasing chapter 4 on May 24th for the Agent and higher tiers around 4pm. If something changes, I'll let you guys know, but for now that's the plan we're rolling with.

Which means that for everyone else, chapter 4 will release on May 31st. Tentatively.

Hey everyone, it's the weekly update.

I've announced this on Tumblr and in the Discord, but I've finished writing chapter 4 and it just needs to be edited and double-checked to make sure the code bits are coding properly. Right now, it sits at a total of 14000 words. That includes all of the branching paths. I'd say a single play through will probably only be 6000-7000 words.

As long as everything goes well and nothing cataclysmic happens, I'll be adding a new short tomorrow after...

Hey everyone. I'm going to try to start making at least weekly check-in posts here--not saying that I'll succeed but I will definitely TRY. (I feel like I probably said this a few weeks ago. Edit to add: Yep I totally said this a few weeks ago. Oops.)

Unfortunately this week I don't think I'll have a short for you. This week's been really hectic (car repairs I thought would take a couple days, sick nephews, and general anxiety eating me alive). Plus I've been fighting a decidedly uphill...

Update for the next 2 shorts

Heeey it's been a productive week. In some aspects at least.

On Saturday the 8th, at 5pm (EST) I'll be uploading two more shorts to the patreon for paying members (doesn't matter the tier, you pay something you get the shorts).

One is for Carter and one is for the Kestrel.

Carter's first short will focus on the MC's time in the hospital just after being found. Most of his content is going to be focused on that familial bond they have.

Just realizing that I haven't actually posted on this thing since October. 

As I'm really bad at this, I don't have the tiers totally sorted out just yet. Right now they're just basic... guidelines. I guess. Mostly I'm hesitant to overpromise anything and fail to deliver.

However, I am starting some RO mini stories/side stories? They're going to be as much for my benefit as my readers' as I need to sort out their personalities and how they interact.
