Here I am! I feel like I really did make everything reflect my personality well. Shading looks pretty good too! Took a bit longer to complete than I expected, but that's only because I wanted to make sure everything was the absolute best I could muster for this ref! Hope everyone enjoys me~ :3

Shading is halfway complete! I've gotten word that it isn't the best idea to shade my refs, so after I complete the shading on this one, I will release the flat color along with it for convenience's sake. I wish I had all the time in the world to draw, I've gotten so many ideas already for a pretty lengthy comic. One day it'll happen!

Juuuust about ready to start shading! I still have some more of me to add, but I got the majority of the details in there. Of course for the sake of eye candy, I changed a few things that aren't a carbon copy of me (12 inches instead of my 8 :3) but it's probably something i'll consistently do with my eeveelutions at least. Little emote I made for Syna! Didn't take that long but I gotta practice with emotes. The size of features need to be bigger so it shows up well on a 100x100 resolution. Not used to that yet hehe.

Damn, this background! Still got some finishing touches to shade with it but I think it's pretty good! My tree textures could be better but this is good enough for now. Time to shade the best part of all... THE DI- I mean THE ESPEON!!

Sketching is complete! I didn't really know how to make a fuzzy placeholder for the background so if that looks weird, trust me it won't soon. The drawing is still going as planned which is good! Time to peak on the coloring.
P.S. The previous version is the sketch going public. It looks cleaner without the placeholder fuzz in the background

ITS COMPLETE AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! Love the result of this piece! I really hope twitter agrees. However, I gotta be honest... This was really hard. I vastly underestimated the amount of work required to complete a comic-style drawing like this and I tried a little too hard with the shading. I need better efficiency so I can make something better than this in less time. The grind continues!

First drawing with my OC! I wanted to try a comic style page. Man oh man this will take a lot more diligence than just one big image does. This might be an eight day project as opposed to the usual six days it takes me to completely start to finish a drawing. Details will be minimal until I finish the rough sketch. Hoping this comes out good!

I think I got a good color palate! References are really nice for a base when it comes to colors. I've been putting a lot of watch time into shading techniques and methods. Really hoping I can blow this one out of the water with the shading!

I might make all my public final sketches look like this since it just looks way sharper than the rough sketches do.

Tried my first "speedpaint" I guess is what to call it. I only spent around 4 hours on this drawing and I used ZERO reference. Really wanted to push myself and see what I could pull off. Opal is done! Can't wait to start making drawings with her. I think this is the first time that I truly nailed the eyes on something! Almost every time they look awkward but this time they look just right. I wonder who her mate is gonna be :3
