Finally guys, I got another page up! This year has started off really rough >_<;; ... but i'm managing to get things done. i'll be headed to Further Confusion in a week and will be vending there!
For the comic. It's coming up to one of my favorite parts now and some dramatic parts in the story. Enjoy~

The last digital art commission of this year! This was one of the biggest ones I have done this year. Five different characters in a restaurant all having a good time. I did take into account the scale of each character and how to lay them out in the overall composition, Was a bit of a challenge to make sure everyone got seen. Especially the ones with wings are always tricky!

Part one of a several part project. This is the initial concept behind the Enchanted Dragon Fruit costume I want to make. I've been experimenting with new materials besides faux fur and minky and it's a lot to wrap my mind around honestly. But I'm going to take a leap and see what I can do with it.
Things coming up include:
New WIP of two new Explicit Dakimakura works.

The final pieces of the Bastet Fursuit costume! Those rings were actually fun to airbrush in golden color and put on the suit as removable props. I do plan on doing things like this for the majority of my suits, at least the original ones I design.
And wip of a new lizard tail for my Alice costume. I realized the old one I made was not to scale with the costume itself and it was difficult to wear. I really did like the bouncy gravity-defying tail, but it will be worn less in favor ...

A quick WIP of a sketch commission I took on when I had a break in between other projects. This one was of a anthro female wolf and her little dragon!

So here is a WIP of a picture from last year. This one I finally got around to getting something of the work in progress of it together. I couldn't find my painting progress shots, I think it got wiped from my phone >_> .. However I did have the Zbrush mannequin shots and mock up coloring on the computer.

This is the part where it gets interesting. I was trying out foam props. I am fairly new to this and it takes a bit of getting used to.
I made paper patterns and then transferred it to EVA foam. After I coated the foam with a flexbond so it would seal it and I could paint over it. I used a combination of acrylic and airbrushing. It seems to work fine as-is and is pretty flexible.
Over all I can improve the way I do this over time. This was good for a first one! 2018-10-26 19:01:00 +0000 UTC View Post
Sneak peek at a early glimpse of the new Bastet fursuit head that will be for sale soon!=

Here is a load of progress on this one in 2 days.
So starting from the top.
I used a heat gun to form a thermoplastic on the top of the skull of the head. This is to reinforce the structure of it since this part will have the most pressure from wearing it.
I prepared the LED eyes and hot glued them in. The next step was securing it with Apoxie around the eyelids. This also gives a bit of character to it before the furring at the end.
Airbrushing begins with prime...

The trickiest part is exporting all parts of a 3D model to be a resin head as one part! All the parts are exported separately to the 3D printer and printed over a number of days. After the parts are washed and cured then is time for the assembly with a very strong glue.
-Resin parts that were printed with my FormLabs 3D printer are ready to be used after washed in IPA solution and cured under UV.
-The head had about 12 parts. I maximized the build plate space on the printer itself...

I've done about three panoramic artworks ever and this one makes it my fourth. But as a commission! I had to split the file in two pieces since Painter doesn't like the length of it for some reason. This is the beginning of this piece. Already finding myself doing much better on this than my previous ones!
This is one commission i'll finish up this month along with the Bastet egyptian head and hopefullyyyyy a special nude artwork! I am preparing for the last convention of the year...

Something a bit different from the norm. And something that takes a while to perfect. I've gone through several 3D modeled and printed SLA resin heads and this one by far is getting near a level of something I can accept as good.

Re-worked jaw set! I only print the parts that need to be printed to reduce hand sculpting work. Also keeps the weight down of the over all head.
That's right! Here is a sneak peek at two enamel pins that will be at my store in October! They are a limited run of less than 50 each. We will have Ultimus Platinum Dragon pin and Return of Guin pin!

Page 15 now up. And newly improved! I'm upgrading the pages with higher quality and new techniques.
The only drawback is I'm pretty much just making one page a month now due to time and money. Since comic pages is entirely extra for me to do and my own personal project.
I do have "more comic pages" as a goal here, but time will tell! The story starts to turn soon and you will find yourself in a new place!
In the meantime enjoy!

A few badge commission art I have made in the past year or so. Two of them are recent. I have been messing with painter sai 2 for recent line works. I'm still getting the hang of it really. Thin lines are the hardest.

I will be experimenting with new ways of doing my artwork. And VERSIONS! It has been a long time in decision making for me about doing this with some artwork. I'll be making SFW and NSFW versions of certain nude pin-up pictures. I see a lot of things I can do with this to make some of your favorite characters of mine and -new ones- more interesting!

The Zodiac Dragon Gemini has always been a unique one to color. Always I would split the coloration up between the heads of the dragons, but this time I wanted them to be fully in sync. Light peacock colors along the body of the dragon itself were always pleasing as one of the older versions I had done was of peacock colors.

This Zodiac Dragon Capricorn was modeled after the first one I did in 2012. It features the sea green coloration along with the unusually pink-purple colored fins. I gave this dragon bigger wings this time to accent the rest of the body. I was very pleased with the overall composition of this!

Some early Zodiac Dragons WIP before I post the finished stuff.
The colors on this one just worked out. Sometimes I'll keep going over colors on a art piece over and over, but not this one. Virgo Dragon still keeps the golden and white color scheme. The pre-color mock up there as well.

Some of the original work in progress from one of my traditional paintings. I love to work on the backgrounds first before anything really. I feel it gives a sense of what the color tones of the picture before getting to the character itself. Then I would slowly work my way towards the front and on to the character. By then i'm really into the artwork and the character would pop out more with her vibrant colors.
I did use my 3d mannequin again. As well as a digital color mock up before I...
