No Dev Log this week

Hey everyone,

Sorry, there won't be a dev log this week.
I'm writing this on my mobile phone while sitting in bed.
I caught the Influenza from the fam (all of them had it since last Saturday), so now I've been in bed since Wednesday.
I haven't felt this shitty since I got hit by Covid a few years ago...

Anyway, I'll skip this week's dev log and preview renders and try to get out of bed as quickly as possible.

Hey everyone,

This has been a pretty busy week and the weekend is going to be too.
Lots of work and family stuff and less time to work on the game. I'll keep this Dev Log short so I can fit in as much development time as possible today.

The numbers for this week:
85 new static renders for a total of 1775
4 new animations for a total of 47
214 new lines in the script file for a total of 5255

Tempus fugit... time flies. It's Friday already...
I managed to do everything I had planned for this week which means I finished the remaining renders for the next test build and created said build.
I also did some tests on it and moved on to the next scene.

The new scene requires me to create 4 new environments, 2 of them are done, 1 is being worked on right now and 1 planned for next week.

Hello everyone,

Weekend ahead and that means time for the new Dev Log.
Decent progress this week... in fact it was one of the most productive weeks ever.
The plan for this week was to get most of the scene done I planned on working on. I finished it completely even though it got a bit bigger than I expected (as usual...) but I'm pretty happy with the result.

Hey everyone,

last Dev Log this year because there won't be a lot to speak about in the remaining two weeks.
Of course, every free minute will go into working on the game (as in the past 3 years...) but with Christmas and the usual family stuff around it, time will be limited.

Hey everyone,

This has been a pretty normal week, given the season and the pre-Christmas madness.

Speaking of Christmas, Patreon introduced a new feature a while ago called "Gifts."
Creators and Patrons can gift Subscriptions to non-Patrons (sadly you can't gift to Patrons with an active sub even if you want to gift a higher tier than they pledged).

types of monsters and creatures are being introduced so are you also going to dive deep into their origins and lore and characters arc or are these characters just side characters with less addition in the main lore?

Hey everyone,

This week I focused on getting the remaining animations for the current scene done.
Especially one of them gave me quite a bit of a headache due to the dforce stuff. Hair simulations through several hundred frames aren't fun. :-D
I did manage to get most of the stuff done as I had imagined it so that's probably still a win...
The second PC is still busy rendering the animations but it's a great help that I can continue to pose new renders on the other PC now.

This was a pretty standard week. I built the next test build last weekend, did some test runs on it, and already found a few bugs to fix. Getting that build done was a bit more work than expected due to the number of renders and the branching of the scene.
But it's done now and I moved on to the next part of the scene.

Aaaand it's Friday again. I'm pretty sure yesterday was Friday too.
