Helen - OVA Anm Progression 05 (the last)

Finally, our last update on this animation!

In the next post, I’ll bring you the release date. I’m holding off on announcing it for now because I’ll be doing a final check on everything before the final assembly.

That’s it guys. I don’t have much more to say, I just ask for a little more patience, although I think I may have tested it a bit already... (´-﹏-`;) I want to make sure the video is 100% perfect so that it’s worth the wait.

How's it going, guys?!

As expected, sound editing is giving me a bit of a headache. Not only is it tough, but it's also the part I hate doing the most, haha. (-_-;) I don't know about you, but I love working while listening to music, and editing sound... well, that’s a no-go...

Helen - OVA Anm Progression 03

Welcome to another weekly update!
Animations are complete, and as I mentioned, things are flowing more smoothly now, until the sound... another bump in the road. (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)

As for the renders, aside from a few details, it's just a matter of letting the computer do its thing. The 69 scene is probably the longest, so I estimate about 4 or 5 hours of rendering.

Regarding the sound, I hope to start working on that this weekend.

Helen - OVA Anm Preview

Yeah guys, I really went overboard and turned an OVA into a complex project... To give you an idea, I’m about to hit frame 6000 in Blender. Haha! (ಥ﹏ಥ)

This animation is a mini "spoiler," but we trusted Jimmy's skills, and we knew he'd get there with mastery.

(Edit): If you guys want to share your thoughts on the lighting, feel free! It's what changed the most in Blender, so the settings are different from the previous animations.

I made good progress with the loops in the meantime, and I hope to finish by the end of this week. I also completed the generic character for scene filling.

I haven't marked it, but I’ve prepared the render settings. I’m running some tests, and it seems I only need to tweak the outline of the characters, nothing too complex.

Finally a new step! Guys, I have to say that, the completed animations are turning out really well. It might sound presumptuous of me, but I needed to say this. I've managed to find a good feeling in the transitions, playing more with their facial expressions and hand movements. Once this is finished, it's going to be amazing.

Monitor vs Smartphone

Patreon seems to be investing well in settings for smartphones, the mosaics themselves seem to fit better with cell phones. (ㆁωㆁ*)

How about you, do you usually access the content through which device? It's cool to know because I can make more renders in horizontal scale, who knows, it might even become a wallpaper, hahaha.

Celes - UpsideDown Anm Wip 02+

These are the collision boxes I use. I add collision to a part of Kevin Punpikin's model and add cloth physics to these spheres. Then, in Celes' model, I use a modifier that interacts with this deformation, and in the end, it gives me the collision result between them.

It's a kind of crazy sequence of settings, but after some time doing it, I got used to it. But the biggest problem is the physics values, whenever I change the impact speed, I get all mixed up trying to adjust it. (-̩̩-...

My models will need an update at some point. I believe that the point I'll reach with Tatsumaki will have solved many problems I've been having so far, especially in terms of polygon count, which I can make much heavier now.
