HeightMapExtractor beta1

Edit the config file accordingly and run the executable.


Features:

  • Export height map
  • Export normal map for the exported height map
  • Export landscape weight maps.


Current Known Limitations/Unsupported features:

  • 2x2 Subsections are unsupported
  • Negative offsets get clipped
  • Shared Texture tiles aren't placed/cropped properly.

So basically this branch of blenderumap2 creates an empty node group from the parameters available in the material and connects textures to their corresponding parameters of node group (same goes for scaler and vector parameters).

If the node group is present in the blend file or any blend file present in EXPORT_DIR/shader/ than that node group with be used instead of creating empty one.

Two example Fortnite node groups (M_BaseSimple_4Layers, P_FN_Base_2022) are included below. View Post
