Hey there! It's been a while since we have posted something, and even more since it was something we worked on ourselves.

The two revamp episodes from January are on their way, and we will start with the two for February shortly.

In the meantime, André took some time off during January to rest from last year's exhausting schedule, and decided to dwell into something he personally likes.

So he went ahead and got the first Beatcats single karaoke'd and translated!

This is the last indonesian dub episode we have for now!

At first, it felt like a re-telling of the episode that leads to the Paradichu season, but it turned out to be something different!

This episode actually feels this month's spotlight! If only a little.

It makes for a really cute episode, and it's really funny to see Maxwell and Sandy's roles changed for once. However it is kinda silly that they reverted their relationship again to not being completely official.

This episode shows some new models that we haven't seen previously so that's neat. Nothing much to comment as it is a fairly simple episode.

We have to say that it was hilarious, and it shows how creative the animators were able to get with the scripts in later Hi! episodes.

This episode could've just passed for a small segment on any of the main series episodes really, but I guess sometimes they just do these fast and simple episodes because they don't need very deep plots anyways.

We are taking a small break for the first few days of the year, but we will get back at full strength soon, stay tuned!

End of year report 2021

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully 2022 gives us a respite, although we can't really complain about our work during 2021!

This past year has been really, really special for us, truly a milestone and we aim 2022 to be a step towards more and more exciting things!

Hamtaro the Movie 2: The Captive Princess - Revamped

This movie was originall subbed in May 17th 2009.

And boy, have we made improvements!

This is André's favorite movie, and so he decided to make the most out of this specific project.

For this version of the movie, we used the official subtitles that are embed into the DVD version of the movie. Lucky for us, they're completely in hiragana, so chart in hand, we were able to be 100% accurate in our translations. This is, without a doubt, the most correct translation w...

Episode 296 - Happy Ham-Ham Wedding! (Revamped)

This episode was originally subbed on April 20th 2009 then revamped on February 11th 2020.

Since we have finished subbing Hamtaro, we thought it would be a nice touch to have a special thank you on the very last episode, for posterity. And so, we decided to revise the revamp we did last year for Valentine again.

Surprisingly, we were able to update a few lines to have them make more sense, so it is not just the same episode as last year.

Episode 267 - Hesitation! Don't Give Up!

We as a team have been subbing since 2009, over 12 years ago. It is such a long time, our lives have made so many changes, we have been on the verge of giving up so many times... that it is just a miracle we endured until the end, and it's all thanks to the community and the hard work of our staff members!

This is the last of today's Indonesian dub episodes, and fittingly, it's a xmas one!

The songs played on this episode are quite rare, instead of using the usual christmas song they created new ones, but it's all good in the end.

It seem like Hi! Hamtaro was supposed to be a low budget series, so it's interesting when they do stuff like this and mix the usual attire of characters... with hilarious results.

Sugar Bunnies - 23-27

Today is Christmas! And as a more special date than any, we want to bring you plenty of exciting gifts.

We will start with the only non-Hamtaro one on the list.

This is the last Sugar Bunnies episode. We have to say that we were quite surprised by the ending of this series.

For starters, we expected the pâtissier contest to take place at the end of the season, and not-so midway through it. That allowed us to have more bunny time, which is actually what we wanted to see when...

December Revamp Episode Poll

Hello, everyone!

This month the spotlight Ham-Ham of the discord server is Jingle!

We think that it would be a good idea to, instead of choosing an episode to revamp by ourselves, we would just ask you what you prefer!

Jingle has very little episodes where he is the main protagonist, but he has a few where he shows up and has an important role!

Episode 156 - A Little Love Story (revamped)

This episode was originally subbed on February 28th 2014.

This is this month's revamped episode as discussed on the poll we made at the start of the month.

This episode was surprisingly well translated and timed, which shows how much love and care we poured into it back in the day.

This is also one of the first episodes we worked on as a fansub, but back then it was sourced from the italian dub in...

Sugar Bunnies - 19-22

This is the next to last episode of the first season of Sugar Bunnies! We can't believe we're so close to finish both Hamtaro and this.

This episode creates a different plot... well, technically it rescues the very mission that brought the Sugar Bunnies to France! 

It is a very cute episode that focuses a lot more on the bunnies, which is what ultimately we expected to see when we decided to sub this.

Another indonesian Haai episode!

This one is about Howdy and how he tries to act more like Maxwell... but Howdy is good because he is Howdy! Or, that's what the episode tries to say...

Sugar Bunnies - 14-18

Finally we're back with more Sugar Bunnies!

This episode finally pushes the plot forward and shows us the famous pâtissier contest on its peak!

Truth be told we were expecting this to show up in the last episode, but we guess there's more fun awaiting us in future episodes!

This episode was fairly easy to translate, although we had a few head scratches here and there, specially with the flower's name.

However, we hope you like this episode as much as we do, enjoy!

Episode 249 - The First Love Letter

Just one more episode to go! This time for real!

Human episodes are usually very lame and not interesting, but this one threw a few interesting fun ideas that worked out well.

We also get to see an extremely pissed off Hamtaro, which is very rare and also very cute!

Hi! Hamtaro - 64 (Indonesian)

Another Hi! episode from our anonymous translator.

This episode is quite an interesting one, we still think that Haai is just taking plot ideas that were not developed enough to make full 24 minute episodes for the main series about it, and just decided to make small 5 minutes episodes about single ideas.

This one for example could've work as an episode on itself, as we actually got a similar episode to this.

Episode 178 - Where Is He? Dad's Great Chase!

The first of the last three episodes. Let's go!

This episode, for a human one, was quite entertaining. The vocabulary and some of the situations going on were slightly hard to pick up, and the quality of the video could be better, but overall it's a good one.

These kind of situations are very rare on anime nowadays and it warms you up a little to see this, which is lost on later episodes where Laura's parents have less screentime.

Episode 230 - Lucky, Sweet Fortunetelling!

This was the last episode of the September batch, which means we're officially on the last stretch!

We love this episode! We improved a bit on the lines from the ones that were on the sneak peek, which is good because there were a few sentences that we had struggle with.

Overall this episode is super fun and a great example of how to use Sweet Paradise and magic to spice up the series plot.

Episode 164 - Nin-Ham and the Iga-Iga Village

This episode was from the July batch, but we forgot to work on it, our bad!

Nin-Ham episodes are not our favorite, mainly because of how tricky it is to translate his old-style speech. This episode too features a bunch of ninja techniques and vocabulary that made it a little tricky to work with.

However, the episode itself is surprisingly fun and pleasant, we hope you enjoy it!
