Jamecia Round 2

Well here are the others from the shoot with Jamecia at the Buddha room Belgium! Created some of them with strobes and some without strobes.

The ones in the door are created with just natural light, no strobes, the ones in the while lingerie are done with a strobe.

What kind of strobe well it is the Elinchrom Quadra ELB500 in combination with the Godox 165W umbrella. This is an umbrella which is huge, just so you know, and the light bounces into the umbrella and comes out of it tr...

Goodmorning

New month, new goals! What about you? This one is one from the bodyparts shoot I've had! Oil and water always does the job! For the light we are talking about one light with a grid to create depth in the droplets! Did you ever shoot bodyparts/bodyscapes yet? Let me know below

Summervibes

Created this with Saar at the Studio! Did you notice that slight hint of cyan and blue in the images. Well that's created in camera!

We've put a reflector on the ground and bounced to open reflectors on the strobe in it, One was gelled cyan the other one magenta! This creates that soft tinting! The main light was the Deep Octa 100cm so that desaturates the colors as wel!

Lisa

Something completely different! Created this series with the awesome Dutch Lisa at the Studio! Yeah no nude, that's right BUT even without being completely nude it's not a must for me to create stunning images! Light for these images is actually pretty easy, just an open reflector on a strobe 21cm and a grid attached to it, that's it!

Emilie

Last week when the sun was out and about we've created this lovely image with Emilie!

Technical: shot with the Nikon D850 and the 70-200mm combined with the Elinchrom ELB500 TTL! Used TTL but with a -1 flash compensation

Closeup

Let's make things a bit more personal and create some stunning bodyparts! This is one of them! Created with just one light and bam, it creates this piece of art which could go right onto your wall in your house!

Watersplashes

Already a part of the water splashes shoot with M at the studio. This is created with just one light and color toning is done in post production.

The big advantage of these images is the dynamic range from the Nikon D850 which lets you open up those shadows & blacks in post production. In my opinion and experience capture one does a better job in that part of the raw conversion then Lightroom.

Love how just that bodychain gives it that little bit more of class to t...

Tuesday

Weekend - Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you all this weekend! This shot is created with this awesome model at the Studio. The lens flare you see on this picture is created in camera that means i'm laying on the ground and aim my lens (24-70mm) towards the strobe! The strobe has a grid attached to it and cinefoil (for those who don't know cinefoil, that is black foil that is heat resistant and doesn't melt so it lets you mold it like to any type of modifier you want!

This way you have lot's of contro...

Gold

For this week we've got some images from the shoot with Natalia. It is a white backdrop the only difference is the modifier on the light.

For the bright ones that's an octabox 100cm and for the darker ones it's an open reflector with grid

Natalia

Morning everyone! The lovely Natalia came by during the weekend! Here is already a first one from the shoot i've had with her!

Technical: Shot with the Nikon D850 and the Elinchrom ELC500 Pro head with the octabox (100cm) no grid angled at a 45° angle on camera's right!

The fabric she is holding is just red satin and I've darkened that in post production to make it really pop! This is done in the RAW stage of the process to make sure that you got all the details in th...

Black & White

Well since it's grey outside we are posting this shot to end the week! Created with just one hard light source and that's it! Open reflector attached to the Elinchrom ELB500 Pro heads!

Bodyparts

These are images created with just one light and a grid! Love how detailed they are! Shot with a Macro Lens 105mm from Sigma

Light that was used in these images was a stripbox from Elinchrom with a grid (30°/50%)

Hey You

Well this series is created after the Cheany series with Bella. Light is done with an open reflector that's why we have the hard shadow of her hand in her face :-)

Spring

Since spring is in the air this one from the shoot with Nele!

Angelic Session

This series was created with Celine at the Studio.

The backdrop is created out of foil that we use during christmas time and then pasted with a hot glue gun to our wooden MDF Backdrops. Some images are shot with ambient light, other ones with the deep octa.

Yinte

hey, goodmorning! This one is created with the awesome Yinte! It's just one light as light source shot against a paper backdrop! Hard light and then some post production to even out the transitions in skintones/shadows & highlights

Olia

So, this new model Olia is just awesome to work with! She just knows how to pose in front of the camera and that makes my job a lot easier!

These images are all created with a stripbox from Elinchrom with the 30/50° grid attached to it. What does a grid do? Wel that's pretty simple it focusses the light. It does NOT create more contrast, that's something that people always tend to mix up!

Oiled Up (Request)

So this series was requested again! Some of the images are created using strobes and other ones are created  by just using the ambient pilot light coming out of the strobes!

Can you guess which one is shot how?

Butterflies

Well did somebody say Butterflies! We tried this new concept with the awesome Nele at the Studio. No strobes, no nothing just daylight! Did some editing first in photoshop and then we put on a preset and tweaked it a bit more to get to this stage!

If you are wondering, the butterflies are done in camera that means with double sided tape and not with glue :-)

Shot with the Fuji X-T3 and the 56mm at F1.2

Remember Monday

Just to come back to this negative black! This image has the same effect added to it! It's some sort of low contrast vibe you create in your image!

It's done by fading out the shadows in your image!

French model

Throwback to start the week to a shoot with the awesome French model! Light was created with the Deep Octa 100cm and a grid attached to it!

The negative black that's what I call it is created by just lifting up your black point in your curves adjustment layer just straight up! So instead of to the right, just drag that point up and that way you create a soft faded black in your image!

First here

Well, this is posted here first before posting it on other social networks! Shot this with the Elinchrom Striplight and a 30/50° grid attached to it.

Red Velvet

Good morning! Today is the series day with the awesome Jamecia! This series is created against a red cherry backdrop and three lights.

Two open reflectors in the background one gelled red the other one gelled blue and then the main light was the indirect Octabox which means light bounces into the big softbox before it comes out which makes it even softer!
