At some point I came up with an overarching theme - a cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Life is represented as a seed, death is a withering flower, and rebirth is the flower developing into a seed pod.

And now, the first update for the UB dex in a quite a while: a dying Sunflora!
The idea for this started as I was thinking about the ecosystem of Megalopolis and how plants may have adapted. This lead me to research plants that can live without sunlight, which brought me to Monotropa uniflora, also called the ghost pipe, a parasitic plant that leeches off of mycorrhizal fungi for sustenance instead of photosynthesizing. They don't even have chlorophyll for photosynthesis, hence...

To start off this account I'm compiling a quick recap of everything for this project so far - starting with the introduction!
Ultraviolet is a Fakemon art project dedicated to Ultra Beasts and expanding what was already set up in USUM. Each existing Ultra Space world will be expanded on with new UBs and new variants!
