Charli's Back...In Sticker Form

It's New Sticker Sunday!...on Tuesday... Well, a friend is actually posting these, for zero pay, so I can't complain. Anyway, here's Charli again, with a friend.

Meg Encounters Some Ogres (Commission)

Here we find Meg having a meeting with a couple of gentlemen of the ogrish persuasion. I can't tell if it's going well or not. I've done quite a few commissions like this, many for the same long-time customer (I can't use his name to give him a shout-out, but, "Hey, you-know-who!"). The challenge, as always, is to make it feel fresh. --Oh, which reminds me...I'm going to be doing some new shorts, some adult, some not. I'll be posting the pages in progress and as ...

Sid Surprises Nessie

This is a silly con sketch I did--coincidentally--at a con a lot of years ago. It's a take on all those magazine covers they used to do, on Vogue and Cosmo and the like. "Cuppers", I used to call them. Sid's expression is pretty straightforward, what you'd expect from the unapologetic lech. But Nessie's obviously camping it up, playing the shocked, innocent young thing. I just wonder how much Sid had to pay to pose for this.

"Evil" Deja Pinup (Commission)

Someone requested this, so I'm posting it here. This pinup commission might very well be unique:  it features Deja Vu from way, waaayyy back, long before she adopted the moniker "Deja Vu". (For those who don't know her story, Deja used to be an extremely powerful witch, who did very bad things to people, from other witches to royal houses to every kind of supernatural creature you can imagine. When this earned her too many powerful enemies, she essentially w...

New Deja Vu Sticker

Well, it's already almost 2 AM Monday morning, so no time to dick around. It's (no longer) New Sticker Sunday, and here's a new Deja Vu sticker.  ('Wulf's in there, too.)

Charli and Friends

There have been some requests for more Charli (the horror host from Macabre, Boneyard and Fire &Brimstone), so here you go. This is part of my "Cheesecake of Horror " pinup series, and will be painted soon. This is one of the few times I've remembered to make Charli's outfit as threadbare as it's supposed to be. She's undead, after all, and ghouls aren't exactly known for their dapper attire. Of course, Charli's not known for wearin...

A Really Good Girlfriend

It's always interesting to me what behind-the-scenes aspects of my stories interest people. Curiously, it's often my characters' sex lives people find most fascinating. Go figure. Maybe they're just curious about the various apparent physiological mismatches--the "How can that work?" aspect of it, if you will. Well, as we've seen with Nessie, and now Robin, it seems it can...with some effort.

New Deja Vu Sticker

It's New Sticker Sunday, and here's a, y'know, new sticker. Incidentally, this pinup was the last time I used a recognizable piece of reference. (Let that be a lesson to other artists who use reference--which is about 99% of us--keep it obscure.) It's Deja Vu, in a rare appearance without 'Wulf. I wonder if someone unfamiliar with the character (and let's face it, that's 99.99999999% or people), not seeing her broom and familiar, would wonder why someone...

A Page from a Slamhounds Short

People seemed to like the earlier Slamhounds page, so here's another. It's a little more finished, but I think the temporary text is less legible (some of it is in alien languages, so don't strain too hard).  This is from a short called, "Stinger". Basically, Dash enters a slave trader's den to rescue some of Vengus Marr's former victims, but she gets caught, and is thrown into the combat pit. It's just a fun little action short, with a satisfying e...

An... Interesting Commission

I did a piece for a lady on a site for like-minded adults, and I thought I'd share it along with some work-in-progress shots. She wanted to see herself worked "like a hand-puppet", so that's what you see here. For clarity's sake, he's actually diddling her booty; if you look closely, the dark patch above the insertion is her vag', not pubes. These details matter. I can only wonder what voice he does for her onstage. (Technical note: I apologize for the paleness o...

New Color Faerie Sticker!

It's New Sticker Sunday, of course, and we have...a new sticker. I quite like this one. She's also going to be a color painting soon. I'll share that when it's done as well.

Yes, Another Werewolf Girl

Hey all. We're literally heading out the door to take Obie for his CT scan and other procedures, to hopefully find out what's wrong with him, so...I drew another werewolf girl pinup. Enjoy!

A Page from Slamhounds: "Wetwired"

There was  some interest recently about Slamhounds, and I realized that I had shared character and ship designs with you all, but no actual pages.  I have several completed scripts, but only a few pages of art, most or all of them uncompleted.  This page was from the opening story arc, which begins with a mature readers retelling of the original short, "Holed Up", which I believe was in Horny Tails. After Dash gets her bounty at t...

Unused M'Lady Cover

Well, I'm glad you like these rediscovered sketches and unused covers, because I've got one for you this week that's sort of both. Years back I did a M'Lady short for--I believe--Sizzle magazine. I did the above sketch for an accompanying cover, but never finished it. It may have been the color sketch I did for it, which I absolutely hated; it just put me off the whole thing. (Funnily enough, I hate the short, too. The art is terrible. Trust me....

Merry (Belated) Christmas from the Ladies

Hey all, hope you're enjoying the holidays...as much as 2020 will allow, of course. And speaking of, I'd intended to have a special Christmas piece for you (does this sound familiar?), but this last week kicked my ass.  (I actually got it about 3/4 penciled, but the  background was becoming so detailed that I knew I'd never get it inked anywhere close to on time.) Believe it or not, we have another furry family member who's seriously ill, so I've been s...

Deja Shows Off

I did the sketch for this quite a few years back, and for some reason never finished it. Then, a year or so ago, I stumbled across it and put it in a folder along with a bunch of other unfinished pinups that I thought you might like, intending to get to them between projects. But it wasn't until recently that I stumbled across that folder, and re-rediscovered this sketch. So I finally got around to inking the damn thing, and here she is!  View Post

Alien Gray with a Pet...Something

I've been working (off-and-on, of course) on an illustrated novel with a central character named Kim (short for a twenty-syllable name), who is basically an alien gray with some human DNA mixed in. I absolutely adore this character--and this is basically her design. Larger breasts, the eyes are a little different, but this is basically Kim. The little alien critter she's holding, that I've never seen before. But now that I've sketched him, I know I'm going to be ...

Devil Girl Pinup Sketch

Up next in our cavalcade of pinups is a naughty-looking demoness. The color sketch shows how the eventual sticker will look; the final painted version will have some sort of background.  Not coincidentally, this piece brings up something I've been mulling over. You may have noticed that I tend to do genre-themed pinups (vampires, werewolves, aliens, retro-future astronauts, etc.), but it's been suggested that it might be a good idea to do more "general" pinu...

Bride Pinup, Inked

...And here's your bootylicious Bride, all inked up. The color sketch shows how she'll look in the painted version, though I haven't decided yet on background elements. Not a whole background (I don't like too much extraneous detail distracting from the figure in a pinup), but maybe textured color and some props.

I'm thinking of creating a running character to reinterpret through a wide variety of pinup themes. The ...

Print of Cute Chipmunk Girl Now Available

Unpublished Far West Cover

Years ago I wrote a Far West story in which Meg goes undercover at a brothel to catch an  incubus with a bounty on his head. It was called "Undercovers"--get it? Get it? Ain't I clever? Anyhoo, it was a project I was really interested in pursuing, because it actually had two scripts, and would have come out in two versions: a regular, non-explicit version, and a version with the exact same story, but with explicit, adult scenes included. &n...

New Faerie Pinup Sketch

Here's an unfinished sketch (the sticker version will be inked and colored; the final pinup  will be inked and include some sort of decorative background element) in my current wave of pinups.  I'll share the inked version in a week or two.

I've also finally started coloring some of these (not the digitally-colored stickers, but painted in traditional media). Right now I'm doing a Beauties and Beasts piece, which I...

New Sticker Sunday!

Hey, all. I'm pretty sure this was a pinup I did for Radio Comix way back when, though I don't recall the title.  Furlough, maybe? I don't know; I tend to forget the last thing I did and move onto the next the second I finish it.  But now it's available in sticker form--and in full, more commercially-viable color!  2020-12-07 04:56:12 +0000 UTC View Post

Bride of Frankenstein Pinup Sketch

I mentioned that I'm in the middle of doing a whole bunch of pinups, and, you guessed it, this is one. I'll be sharing WIPs of some--sketches, pencils, pencil-rendering in some cases, inks, and for quite a few, final painted versions. And again, this is one of them. I love the way iconic images can be reinterpreted over and over, especially monsters. The Bride is one of my favorites, which is why she's popped up in numerous pinups and shorts I've done. This versi...

Alternate Cover for Short Strokes

I'm not sure who's familiar with it, but some years ago I did an adult book called Horny Tails (ooh, that's embarrassing--I just paused for applause, then remembered that I'm writing this). In fact, it was my first adult book. The title--which was NOT my idea--was meant to be a play on the fact that there were devil girls with horns and tails on the cover. Thus began an unfortunate tradition of saddling my adult collections with pun-der...

Happy Thanksgiving (From Aiko)!

It's probably a little soon for more Teddies with 'Tudes, but I wanted to think outside the box a bit for this year's Thanksgiving piece.  In the WIP pics, you can see that I flipped the image before finalizing the sketch. This turned out to be fortunate, because it wasn't until seeing it reversed that I noticed I'd misplaced the tail feathers. The last pic is a blow-up of a tiny color sketch, crude but containing all the necessary information. Is t...

Abbey with Tombstones, Inked

Well, you wanted to see this one inked, and here she is. It looks so much better with all that black filled in.  As far as the image originally intended for the back of a potential shirt, I need to update the sketch and ink it, but I'll bring you that one as soon as it's ready. Ta for now!
