This has been a big year for Nox. Out of 7 releases so far, I’m super proud of 5 of them, and I’m excited about the new one which will drop in a few weeks. The overall process has been optimized by orders of magnitude. It's pretty crazy actually just how fast the technical side has gotten compared to this time last year.

Looking back and seeing the two videos side by side, this one in particular didn’t deviate a whole lot from the original animatic. Since the start of this year, I’d been focusing more on simple compositions, and stripping out potential ‘problem shots’ early, for the sake of speed. Hey all, just writing to let you all know that I'm still kickin'

My big Nox colab project has taken longer than I expected in it's final leg. I'm stoked with how it's turning out though and I hope you will be too.

Thanks for stickin around during this slow period. I'm tentatively optimistic I'll be hitting the ground running again after the next big release.

Developing a new concept

Hey guys. For the past two weeks I've been stuck in hotel quarantine, so I've taken the time to experiement and flesh out a new concept. I really like the look of classic stop motion, like in Beetlejuice, or the original King Kong. The janky pose to pose action has a raw charm to it.
