Recently I've been working on the first batch of pages for my upcoming comic project. Between the time I started my other webcomic RORY and now, I've learned a few ways to ease my workload and quicken my pace by inplementing a few changes to my workflow.

Some of these tips rely on features specific to Clip Studio Paint, but there are likely similar features or workarounds in your program of choice too.

Drawing Backgrounds For Comics - Drawing A Room From Multiple Angles

When working on a comic, you'll have to draw rooms from multiple angles depending on where your characters are standing. I used to just approach each page with the mindset that I would probably remember where things go in a room based on other panels, but very quickly realized that this led to me making a lot of small but noticeable mistakes. 

This is one of the methods I like to use to make the process of drawing a room from multiple angles much simpler.

CSP Auto Action - Lineart Color

I made these CSP auto actions to quickly give a base color to my lineart. 

These actions only work if your lineart is already fully colored (including background for best results). It takes colors from the rest of the drawing so your line colors are cohesive. 

Make sure none of your color layers are locked before you use the actions!
