First progress pics: swimsuit edition (1-2024)

Here's some progress pics to start this year! I was trying to decide between swimsuits and realized I could also practice some flexing. I want to start doing progress pics every month or two, so those are at the front :) But there are some fun swimsuit test photos and pics from today, as well, and I attached a silly flex sequence and two of my barbell row sets from today if you wanna see them in action.

This photoshoot was originally meant to be somewhat Kim Possible inspired and playing more with androgynous fashion, but the space we chose to shoot at took over. I love the colors in this shoot and the wild energy between the plants taking over and the decaying building. The entire process felt like an exploration of this place, its memories, and my own unacknowledged strength I've been discovering.

Happy Samhain!

Samhain is a time I feel most comfortable being my most comfortable: witchy and a little dark. This time is a time of acknowledging things to let go and those who have died, and play with those things that scare us.

This year "witch" is the closest to a costume I got, as I mourn my safe haven of my last apartment, I also realize I can always find and create new ones. Beyond destruction, there is often new growth and regrowth.
