cant figure out how to do the star on her chest inside daz. if i add it to the outfit, it will deform with posing and shaping. if i apply it as a button it moves all over the place, and it wont fit. if i add morphs to the star we need to adjust it for every single pose. so, not sure how to do that yet.

how to use:
once you load in the necklace, pose your charterer and rotate the gems manual so they dont clip into the chest. every gem has its own controller. to select a controller, just click on one of the controllers in your scene, and then in the parameters pane you can adjust the rotation (see pic 02)

there is gap in the armpit, so if it shows in your pose, select the jacket and then turn off smoothing, that will remove the gap.

ok, not as easy as i thought it would be. i made the partial morphs inside MD and then applied them in daz on the outfit.
now as long as i change only one value, for example, bend the upper leg forward, or the knee backwards, the partial morph kicks in and it works great (see pic 1 and 2).
the problem is once i start combining values, like bending the upper leg and bending the knee. what happens is, both partial morphs are being activated and daz will take the average value of both morphs.
now in md there is a lot of pulling and stretching going on, so the polygon that is located on the knee in the zero pose, is located above the knee when i bend the leg, while its underneath the knee when i bend the knee, so the average location of that polygon, when both the leg and knee are bend, is inside the leg (see pic 3)
so, i get what is going on, but i dont really know how to solve this using md. i can just model it and it will work fine, but then we dont have those nice wrinkles going on or things like what you see in pic 1 where the cloth is being bunch up together above the hip

experimenting with partial Joint Controller Morphs aka pJCM's. i made 3 of them all for the left shoulder (our right), and the end result is really amazing. no stretching of polygons what so ever and it fits perfectly

this is not a good start of the year for me, first my gpu died, then my chair breaks, and now last friday, i had a major system crash. i have no idea what happened, but i had to setup the whole pc again. i guess the good part is, everything is up to date now, but now, because i dont know what happened, im so afraid something is really wrong.
maybe one of you know, what happened with my pc was, for some reason my c drive and d drive switch places, so c became d, and d became c. to my knowledge thats not possible. but it did. so even the restore function was not working cause it could not find the backup folder for the system because it was looking at the wrong drive. so, headaches all around. i managed to fix it by downloading things directly from the internetz, and set things back to factory settings. so now its running again
anyways, installed everything again, and did some test renders.

strand based hair inside daz, i did not know this was a thing, its basically the same idea as the hair plugin im using in 3ds max. i think it looks really awesome, but i cant figure out how to smooth out the hair. if you go to the last pic you can se how chunky it is, do any of you guys know how to fix that?
