still really fighting to get a marvelous designer animation to match up with the rest. not really sure why its not working. so no clothing yet. but i guess thats not really a problem though, right? :D

ok, so now we switching over to motion builder. very short sexy dance, pretty easy to do once you know what you are doing. this animation is rendered inside motion builder itself so it looks kinda weird, but its about the movement anyways. next up ill make a longer dance with a marvelous designer dress, put her in an actually scene and render it all out in unreal. i have no idea how long this is going to take, but thats what the corona weekends are for!

so more testing with unreal. now we have light shafts/god rays in thick fog. figured out how to add clothing, and in particular shoes, to the character which i had a hard time last time i was testing. i can add extra attachments , like guns, swords, hats, dildos, whatever we want. so now we are getting somewhere :D

so, we got volumetric fog and baked lighting with indirect light bounces now. took 20 minutes to render out the lightmaps on high quality, so thats really not that bad at all.
still a couple of weird things going on. the dof is not applied on all objects in the scene, and on belfast her face there is a lot of shadow bleeding going on. not really sure why that is. im guessing its a sampling setting somewhere, but no really sure yet. still a lot to figure out but its so much fun!

not a lot of luck today. cant fix the problem i have with the dress, so i need to find an other solution to get the dress animation with texture data inside unreal. not even close to an actual idea on how to do it yet.
also, doing hair physics right inside unreal is not really giving accurate results cause of how the engine works. the only way you can apply colliders to a character is with standard hitbox primitives , like capsules, spheres, boxes and the like. i wish they had the funct...
