I've worked on these while preparing the demo. Still fixing and sorting out some technical stuff as well as the game text.

Here's the finished art for the main menu of Demonheart: The Ice Demon.
I love how he seems to be lurking indoors, and you can see the city and the hot weather outside.

I've also begun modifying my existing visual novel engine to make it easier to write the game and set graphics and audio so I should waste less time on the technical stuff and focus on creating game content. (The final polishing of Jester / King was hard because I had to do a lot of things from code instead of selecting it from a graphical interface, so I'm trying to improve that.)

Today I submitted the game builds for Jester / King to Steam to review.
I'm still testing this game and feel like I have to polish it better toward the end. I can't finish a single playthrough in three days (due to constant changes.) ='D Still hoping I'll be ready to push the release button in mid-September!

Just a quick update to show the finished sprite of the mentor/witch in the new VN!
I'll be doing some final testing and fixes of Jester / King for the next few weeks. Hopefully, the release will be on the date I scheduled ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/1424300/Jester__King/ ) and after that I can work full-time on the new VN.
This is another character in the new visual novel, a witch in her 40s. She will be kind of a mentor figure for the main character. =)

It's the second romance interest for the new otome VN! (The first one is the demonspawn. :P)
I plan to give both of them their own routes. Can't promise the same for the other characters, but we'll see where the story takes anyway.
The background artist already finished all the scenes I asked for. Some of them or their variations are spoilerish so I didn't want to share them, but here are some that I can: the main character's bedroom, the market, and a prison/torture room (because we need that!)
Thanks again for supporting! In the following months, I only expect to commission the character artist, but it takes him a few weeks per image because he works a lot. =')

In the meantime, I'm testing and polishing Jester / King and can't believe how long it's taking. By my estimate, it's going to take 2 months to polish it to my liking. I think I'd have an easier job if I published it in chapters like Demonheart, but alas, it's not so easy to split into chapters.

In the previous post you can see the finished sprite, but I thought I'd share these because they are so cool. =) Having concept art made and choosing between these was fun! Although, honestly, I think either one of them would have been awesome. The character artist is 6nii9. We'll be doing this for the rest of the main cast for this VN!
