Hey Friends! I’m back in school (this was my first week back which, if you've been to college, you know what a stupid hullaballoo the first week of school is), which means a new schedule is in order!

This is a first for GHOTW in that this house hasn't even been built yet! I'll be honest, it took a lot of work to find a half-way decent house in a place like Las Vegas, where speculation was so heavy before the recession that garbage went up at a rate of what seemed like a mile a minute.

Good House of the Week: Douglas County, Nebraska

Folks, it's extremely rare to see a well done imitation of the Prairie style, especially done by a builder, but even I have to admit this 1994 house is stunning. The interiors are immaculately dressed with Frank Lloyd Wright furnishings, and as a bonus, the house is actually located in the Prairie!

Hello Patrons! Today I'm introducing a new $10 reward to replace the stickers. Not only were the stickers difficult to manage, but more importantly the local print shop where I've been getting them made has closed, making the stickers more difficult and expensive to produce. Good House of the Week: St Charles County, Missouri

I'm going to be up front with you: there are two things I don't like about this house. One is, of course, the shutters. The other is the brick veneer which I find unnecessary as it clashes with rather than compliments those amazing wood shingles. Limiting the house to (what I assume is) fibre cement siding and wood shingles would make the exterior seem much less busy.
