Had completely forgotten about this game I made in a flurry during a summer class in 2016. It was conceived, drawn and riso-printed all by myself in a 2-week period. I've never actually played it either!
It was essentially a bluffing card game a la Coup with an added layer of complexity on top of it (probably too much if I am honest). The premise was that each player controlled a group of survivors in an apocalyptic waste (yikes). Each round of play was a stand off around a newly discov...

Just received my copies of my first children's book. The foil cover looks absolutely fantastic in person and I am so pleased with how it all came together. I was half scared that I'd be sick of these illustrations or only spot the flaws by the time this book came out but safe to say that is not the case; I am quite proud of this book! I absolutely cannot wait to share more. For now, here's a bit of a glimpse.
If anyone's interested, I've been thinking of posting a peak at the ...
Drew this as reference so I wouldn't accidentally keep renaming my characters!

I just finished another batch of strips and decided this one should go earlier so you get a 3rd advanced strip this week!

For the last few months of 2020, I was working away like a madman illustrating my first children's book. Due out in October 2021 through Thames & Hudson UK and Penguin Random House, it's a collection of gruesome fairy tales from all over the world. It was a ton of fun to draw and I can't wait to share some more illustrations from it.
Anyways, it's kinda funny cause it's up for pre-order on some websites but I don't believe it's been officially announced. All of the ...

We did a handful of exercises, to varying degrees of success, and it was just a ton of fun. Anyways - attached is the worksheet with some fun exercises on it if you're ever feeling stuck drawing comics.

Here are some sample pages from a project I am currently hoping I get to continue working on! The attached pages are all non-sequitur and were done to give a sense of the visual identity of the project for the pitch.
I am incredibly excited about this story and really hope I get to share more about it later. For now, these pages will have to suffice.
This story was written by me and illustrated by Lily Snowden-Fine. I love Lily's charmingly wonky drawings. This is the first and only time I've written something for someone else to draw.

was so pleased to be asked to contribute to issue 2 of Wavering Lines collective's risograph comic series. This comic was drawn at almost the precise time I was working on -ish so I feel it shares a lot of the same dna. It's neat looking back at this university era work and seeing how much I was experimenting.
I combed through my hard drive and couldn't find my scans of this issue so the digital mock-up will have to suffice! I will post the risograph book scans if I come across them. 2021-05-12 18:47:02 +0000 UTC View Post
This comic was made for Klub Zin 4. I've actually never shared it online before as I've always been a bit disappointed with how it turned out. I had never drawn a comic without planning the story ahead of time or having a strong sense of *what* it was about. For this story, when I started, I only had a vague idea and wanted it to be but I wanted to restrain myself to plan only a page ahead at a time. It was a fun experiment but I am not sure I'll ever work that way again. I am also not a huge...
