Liz and Dao heard of the super rescue of the college girl from a predator. They were still hungry to capture a super male to burnish their credentials with the women.

Liz: "Thanks for meeting with us Jesse. Tell us what happened."

Jesse: "You already know. I was walking down by the river home from my friends party and a guy came at me, and out of the water this person like flew. And he kicked the guy's ass."

The first batch of supers found in the general population was completing their modifications and initial training. They needed to be taken to facilities to be trained by fully capable supers in order to be able to have any hope of fighting the women.

Nimbus: "Shut up man, he doesn't have a fully neural network in him like we do. They have to put part of it on the outside."

Yard Soldier 1

After successfully capturing and humiliating the arms dealer's nephew at the hotel, the women were ready for their next phase. They had contacted the former Russian General about acquiring some of the military technology he had been acquiring. While a meeting was established at an old motor pool, the women had no illusions the hardened war criminal would try at least one more attempt to take the upper hand with them. 

Another Male Captured

The women were continuing to send their agents out to identify and capture potential males with super DNA. Their methods were generally crude but effective. This hapless fool would be scooped up shortly and taken to be 'modified' to the women's advantage.

For a super, his breed was not as physically large as the other males, which had its advantages. He was under strict orders from the Administration to not patrol or put himself under an undue scrutiny as he was not yet fully trained (or under their discipline and control). But, he spent his evenings as a vigilante silently swimming up and down the long dark river that the students would traverse at night at their own peril. Finally, the opportunity he had hoped for and dreaded came to pass......
