So I'm slowly prepping things for another Kickstarter - not only we need to print volume 2, but we need to reprint 1 with some corrections and collect Blue Pill Arcade so i think I'll keep the rewards as simple as possible and not do anything too extravagant. 

Still need to work out a lot of annoying stuff like fulfillment in the UK but hopefully something will work itself out.

It's been almost three weeks since we first made Dates & Wires available to our Patreon backers, and while there isn't much left to say about the game itself at this stage, I thought it'd be fun to give those of you who've played - and hopefully enjoyed - it a chance to compare the finished product to our original design doc from mid-February.

It only took us some 3+ years (and 3 chapters) to get some closure on Dan's final rehab visit and the big dramatic ending to Chapter 4. 

I always wish we had more time to like, reflect on the things happening with Dan, particularly his Progress Bridge incident which just..never got brought up again. But we're also acutely aware of our sparse update schedule (for modern Webtoon standards) and needing to finish the story before we die.

Finally, food close-ups, my favourite thing to draw. Especially when it's...a fresh springroll with kolbasa?..FUSION CUISINE. When planning this scene I got consulted on the kinds of things that would be easy and appropriate for Troy to make and we tossed around some fusion meal ideas like using buckwheat instead of rice, but in the end I decided not to torture Troy too much. 2021 was going to be our Kickstarter year, but between Covid and Brexit and post being weird, i'm a little wary about planning it. Seeing as the action has just swung back to Troy and Mira, it's an apropos time to dig up this rejected scene from the digital wastebin.  

"Rejected" is framing it a touch harshly, though - this is just a fun little moment that got orphaned when we decided to shake up the narrative a bit.
