I feel like this page took me way longer than it looks. Oh well :v I guess 6 panels worth of backgrounds will do that, but it was my idea to introduce a montage page rather than just have them sit there and talk about what they've seen, so I've got no one but myself to blame.

I apologise for (once again) going off the rails with the updates, but i guess that's the downside to never having a page buffer. I'm currently working on a bunch of freelance comic stuff that should clear up this month, and once it's done we should hopefully find our footing again. 

Anyway, happy to have Vlad back in the comic after his very lengthy absence. My only worry is that I did not do his monologue justice :v

Eve has 3 chapters worth of dialogue bottled up since her last appearance and you're gonna have to hear all of it. I think the political subplot is a great way to bring her back into the story and I'm really excited to see where things go from here.

This is the only time when I've admitted to this textwall being kind of necessary, but hopefully that's the last time I get to make a text balloon this big :v (at least, in a panel of this size)

So I guess it's about time I stopped neglecting the main comic. I had all those grand plans of maybe doing as many layouts as i can and having a buffer, but i got so caught up in BPA and other stuff it just never happened, so for now we'll work like we always have: with zero safety net. At least with COVID ruining all of 2020 I won't have anything to distract me from the schedule.

The idea of posting a plot summary was Mary's; she'd figured enough had happened in the comic by now that our long-time readers could do with a refresher. The original plan was to put together a basic timeline covering all the ins and outs to date, but when her partner Dima suggested we try an in-character recap instead, I took that concept and ran with it. So i've ordered 30+ test prints of this promo art I did a while back, and after giving away a bunch to people who requested one through the Discord #patreon channel, I'm putting up the rest here! Hiatus Extra Preview: The Shitparade Returns

Probably the wordiest page we've had in a while. To the point where I kinda ruined Shitparade's comedic reaction a bit which was meant to be blank, but there were too many words and I didn't want to wake for Io to wake up to fix stuff :v So...I squeezed it in as best i could.

But I'm also glad the upcoming couple of pages is written by me and as such is gonna be...very dialogue light to say the least. I'm excited for it.

I've been looking forward to giving Shitparade a shave. Almost as much as I wanted to shave Dan in chapter 4.

I'm so sorry about our schedule as of late, everyone. I hope next chapter we can do some more fundamental changes to our workflow because all this last minute scrambling has never seemed very sustainable to me. But it also takes me a lot longer to draw a comic page  these days. Maybe I should get back into regular streaming.
