Happy New Year, folks! 

I figured I should keep my streaming announcements to a minimum, so rather than doing a 24hr warning, here's a schedule for this month, all times are in GMT:

So basically i'm gonna be committing to Wednesdays for the time being with some evening Monday slots. Not sure what to do stop this patreon from being 90% livestream ann...

Chapter 6 Page 1 + News

That's right, D&W is on its way back! I think I'm gonna keep it on Patreon until we have a small buffer of at least 3 pages - my public updates have been very hectic and irregular in 2018 due to getting back to full time work, Kickstarter and other personal stuff and I really want to change this in 2019. So for the next few weeks I'll be running updates on here!

I'm also thinking of switching up tiers. This update will be available to all patrons, but in the future I'd like to keep ...

Livestream tomorrow!

There's going to be another patron-only livestream at 11am tomorrow. Still thinking of a good time to do these! I think I'm gonna have to pick a weekday in the new year just because weekends are less structured for me, and it'll probably have to be in the am or at least not late in the evening like my twitch livestreams used to be, but other than that, I am open to suggestions.

Tomorrow at 11am GMT I'll be trying out livestreaming with our upcoming D&W page. I'd  love to get back to streaming, but I also want to build up a patron-only backlog, so I'm gonna hold off from doing Twitch for a while. If this goes well and everything works (I'm still sorting out my PC after an SSD crash the other day) then i'll make these regular after Christmas - and I know i've struggled with a schedule before, but my life is both more structured and more flexible time-wise the...

While Io's still tweaking the script for our upcoming chapter I thought I'd show a sneak peak of what's coming for Lin. With most body mod places experiencing closures, Lin stays in business by swiftly renaming her clinic into a tattoo parlour. Would you get tatooed by Lin?

Chapter 6 WIP

Should hopefully colour this tomorrow, but I figured since everyone's charges just went through, i should resume posting asap :) Besides, i rarely show any pure linework. Mostly because I don't think it's my strong suit, but so far this cover's coming along nicely. 

As you can see we're about to get yet another new character, and if I'm correct, the last big player to join the comic. I'm sure you'll learn all about them soon, in the meantime, I think this cover might have a couple of clue...

Chapter 5 Finale (30-31)

Started inking these a while back but only just got to finish them. It doesn't help that along with the move I've just started a professional comic colouring gig, but I'm finally settling down here in Dublin so hopefully I'll get to draw more things now!

..At last, after yet another mini-hiatus this page is finally done. I started pencilling it some two weeks ago but unfortunately wasn't feeling well and delegated my efforts towards less creatively demanding tasks like packing KS rewards and adapting existing pages for Webtoon. But I'm glad it's finally out there and hopefully this means I can get the rest of the chapter out smoothly, too.

I haven't unpaused our Patreon yet, but I probably will once we're more regular or I have time to do any ...

Just wanted to let you know that we'll be pausing our Patreon for a month, maybe 2, or until I feel like I'm good to run it again - all this means is that you won't get charged at the end of this month and onwards until we're back!

I feel like these past few months it's been really difficult for me to keep things up with all things Drugs & Wires, and I feel like it's unfair to keep charging our supporters and not deliver on all ...

I will have a few weeks to myself between leaving fulltime work and moving in September so hopefully I'll finally catch up and have more content for our patrons!

First dialogue-heavy page in a while! Also, first D&W page I've done almost entirely on my ipad. I have drawn many BPA pages on ipad and it's been working out well, and with the heatwave melting my room (and my Cintiq) it's pretty much the only way for me to get this comic done.

Has Nate managed to get himself into more trouble? Guess we'll find out soon! But not too soon, as next week we're once again changing the scenery :D

The good news is that Nate is back for this scene, the bad news..well, it's kind of self-explanatory. 

For Nate's flat, I took inspiration from 90's/early 00's outlandish Russian interior designs, many of these elements I've seen in person. Though, in Nate's case I didn't make it quite as extreme. 

Expect a whole more talking in the next page :v gotta set up that scene first.
