Sully's Random Sustain Bass Generator [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Highly recommend adding this to your arsenal for sound design. Using M4L LFO's I've created a random sustain bass generator where you can simply hit record and get endless results of useful tones to sit on top of your productions.

Sully's Mix Check (Free Ableton Rack)

A handy dandy tool I made to help you reference your tune against other songs. One thing I forgot to mention is a highly recommend using this rack while you still have headroom in your mix (just turn your reference track down to match!)

Honestly this is mostly just 45 mins to an hour of me throwing paint at the wall. Not the MOST productive I've ever been by any means - but I moved the dial forward on a new song and you guys can see a bit of my process as to how I get ideas going.

Tutorial: Stem Mix & Master

Shoutout to Adam Natale a.k.a. Masta Plan for allowing me to mix his song for the purposes of this video. 

A few things I forgot to mention in the video...

1. I mixed this track from about 8-10 original stems

2. I had never heard the song prior to mixing. Except for maybe once or twice when I was giving Adam feedback. Nonethless, very fresh mixing perspective.

Went back to the earliest version of the project I had and deep dive into the sound design of the main leads.

Track Breakdown - Misfits Pt. 1 (Arrangement & Songwriting)

So as you will hear me say in the video quite a few times. This session was passed back and forth between 2 DAW's SO many times so it's nearly impossible to track down the sound design from Liquid Stranger's end and the mixing sessions because there's like 40 of them lol.

In this first video I review just the arrangement and songwriting thought process and go through the layout of the tune!
