Some other webcomic artists have been doing these meme redraws with their characters for awhile and I've always wanted to join the fun! In the past couple of days I finally did, here's a few I've done so far.

I spent a couple of afternoons fooling around with Maya to create these models-- I didn't bother rendering, just panned the camera around and took screencaptures of angles that looked useful for comic panels, lol.
They're rough, but they get the job done! It's a large and stripped-down room in part because things like partitions and barriers are usually constructed on the fly using magic.

So fun story, most of the cast of Wychwood is based on a story I first wrote a very long time ago (a very, VERY long time... as in, I was in elementary school....)
Anyway, just for fun, I drew the characters wearing the outfits their original incarnations wore. Or in Tiara's case, because she was originally a side character, I drew her in the outfit of the main character that I cut out of the story entirely during the process of turning it into its current version.

The next batch of advance pages is on its way-- while I am technically well ahead of the site in terms of pages produced, I was unhappy with the scene scheduled to start on Monday, and this week I decided to re-do it. I should have at least the first bit of it done by this weekend, but I wanted to share at least the thumbnails here so you can see what I'm working on as I do it!

I've been doing a lot of revisions since the beginning of the project. The image above is a screencap of a number of thumbnails and full pages that I cut or heavily edited in the story-- all from chapter 2 or early in chapter 3 (and yes, some of them WERE finished when I cut them! Ahhh).

I was working on a marker commission and.... well, it was the first time I've really seriously touched my markers since I moved several months ago, and I got a little overexcited about that, so I started sketching this monster.
There's a couple of tweaks I might make before I go to inks-- I think it would look better if Tiara were just a little larger on the screen, to sell the perspective that she's the closest to the front. But otherwise I'm pretty excited to finish this!

I was experimenting with a pen awhile ago, and decided to doodle a little Felix-- the red colour is the actual ink from the pen, it was so bright as to be just about fluorescent in real life too, haha.
