Progress! The base colours for the rendering process have been laid down now, which is also a chance for me to preview and figure out stuff like the background, overall colour balance of the piece and the lighting ahead of finalizing everything. I still consider this stage to be very preliminary and a preface to the greater part of the work but it looks pretty nice already! Timelapse later this evening.

Hey there! Sorry this took longer than expected - the original footage is 4 hours before compression and I guess it needed overnight to export. Also sorry about the weird music clipping - i've had that issue a couple of times now and i'm gonna see if I can address it, but the video works just fine!

A longtime favourite and a card i've wanted to do my own version of for years - I liked the idea of pushing the ceramic ornamentation in an organic direction and transforming it into some unwholesome veins. Hopefully this piece will be available as a custom card from Zaba before long - no guarantees but i'd love for it to be on the site ahead of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales later this month. What better mascot for killer deals than the Pot of Greed?

Here's a peek at some work done for a client I won't be able to share in public for a couple of days! Chugging through the latest batch of commissions. Working on this brought me back to some of my favourite subject matter and also marked a return of the all-seeing eye, a favourite recurring symbol of mine.
