From our videos, it may sometimes look as if we're very rich, but in fact, we actually live on quite a tight budget. But that doesn't always have to mean that we can't spend much money. We went to Cambodia, which is one of the cheapest countries in the world, and figured out that money goes a very long way there. In this video, we'll take you to the famous Ankor Wat temple complex, we go shopping in Siem Reap, we get massages and cocktails, and even oysters. Let's just hope that oysters were ...

After travelling around the world for almost 6 years now, we think that we got quite a good idea of what the naturist market has to offer. And maybe more importantly, we're starting to see interesting trends. In previous blog posts, we've already mentioned the uprise of luxury naturism, and we often say that today, you can find everything in the naturist tourism world that you can also fi...

We don't often talk about what it costs to stay at a naturist resort. The prices obviously differ from resort to resort and from country to country. And what you get for your money also really depends from place to place. So we put our dollars on the table and went to Dragonfly Naturist Village in Pattaya, Thailand. We'll give you the big tour of the resort and show what you get for $100 a night.

The country France is often named in one breath with “du pain, du vin, et du forage”. Bread, wine, and cheese. And that doesn’t even start pointing out the wonders of this country (although wine is a pretty important aspect for us). But even food and drinks aside, there are so many great things to discover. From picturesque historical villages, to wonderful landscapes. For the latter, timing is often very important. Those of you who traveled in the Provence region in July will probably ...

During our initial visit to Thailand in 2018, we noticed that naturism was on the rise. In just over five years, five naturist resorts had opened their doors. Less than a year later, that number had increased to eight. However, over the last few years, several of these resorts have closed down, while new ones have emerged.
COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the naturist tourism scene in T...

Pattaya is a well-known name, but not always for the best reasons. It's the notorious party place in Thailand where the most common type of dance happens on people's lap. There are also 2 naturist resorts in the city though, and we went over there to figure out whether both quite distinct worlds can live together.

We're on an island called Koh Rong Sanloem, off the coast of Cambodia. There's no naturism here, nor anywhere else in the country. For the last couple of days, we've been asking several expats if they think it would be possible to start a naturist resort here. The locals are mostly fishermen or run small shops or restaurants. They don't care much about us tourists. Although their culture and Buddhist...

Ayutthaya may not immediately ring a bell, but back in the day, it was the capital of Thailand which remained unconquered for centuries. Today, it's a huge UNESCO heritage site with lots of temples. Away from the city, we went to Khao Yai national park, the oldest national park in Thailand which has been elected several times as the best national park in the world. We searched for elephants and Leonardo diCaprio but ended up finding something we could even better relate to.

Naturism and vacations have always gone hand in hand, even in times long before the commercial resorts. In those days, the local naturist club was a great weekend getaway, and during the summer holidays, the tent was packed or the caravan hooked up to spend some time without clothes at a club a bit further away.
Then someone must have realised that they were missing out on an opportu...

Hi everyone!
As you all know, one of the perks of being a Patreon is that you get to see all our content before everyone else does. When it comes to video, you get access to our videos on Fridays before they are launched on Youtube on Sundays.
The difficulty for ourselves is that we can't schedule our videos on YouTube way upfront because once it's scheduled, Patreon won't allow you to access it anymore. So what we normally do, is schedule a video about an hour or so before it's s...

The story we'll tell you in this week's video is not a happy one. We travelled to Kanchanaburi to search for a very dark piece of the history of Thailand. By visiting the bridge over the River Kwai and the Hellfire pass, we get an idea of how the Thailand-Burma railway was constructed and why it has cost the lives of more than 100 000 people.

It has been 5 years since we last visited Thailand, almost to date. So we were very much looking forward to seeing what has changed and what we would still recognise. The world turns fast, but one could wonder how much can be different in just half a decade. These are not normal times though.
When we first visited Thailand, naturism in the country was still kinda in its infancy. There were sev...

Thailand is famous for its markets, there's one on every corner of the street and there are different markets during the day, in the evening, or just during the weekend. We travelled to Amphawa to get the ultimate market experience, including a lively floating market and a fascinating railway market. Oh, yeah, we also got robbed again... by a dog...

For 3 whole months, we've travelled through South Africa in search of what the country has to offer to the naturist traveller. The least we can say is that we've been overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this country. Even if we wouldn't have had a single chance to get naked, it would definitely still have been worth every minute of the trip. But luckily, we did get opportunities to enjoy ...

After 3 months in South Africa, it was time to move on to Asia and our first stop is Bangkok Thailand where we visited Barefeet Naturist Resort. Because a recent survey on this channel showed that you'd like to see more nature in our videos, we went on a search for nature in downtown Bangkok. Difficult, yes, but not impossible.

Last week, we told you about Caroline, our Swedish intern. How she got involved with us and why she ended up joining us in Colombia and became a part of Naked Wanderings for a while. She would be working with us on a project about goods for naturists, but there was a small issue. She wasn’t a naturist. Or, let’s rephrase that, she had never been to a nude beach or naturist resort before.
Luckily, she is Swedish and Sweden has quite a sprawling sauna culture in which nudity is also t...

All good things come to an end, and unfortunately, this was also the case for our big road trip in South Africa. For 3 months we've been driving through the country visiting all those wonderful places, but we made sure to leave a special treat for the very end of our trip. The couple of days before we would fly out of the country, we spent at one of the world's largest naturist domains: Ki...

It feels like the last three months have gone past like a high-speed train. As if it was only yesterday when we first arrived in Johannesburg, and now we're arriving here for the second time. Because just before we leave the country, there was one more naturist resort that we wanted to visit: Kiepersolkloof. In this video, we'll give you a small tour of the domain and talk about all the things we've learned about travelling in South Africa as a naturist.

If you've been following this blog for a while, you may have noticed that we often use a comparison with veganism as an example to explain certain aspects of naturism. There's no need to worry, our goal is not to convince every naturist to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Or vice versa. But we noticed that although both are quite distinct, they share a number of similar values.
It appears th...

Ever since we arrived in South Africa, everybody told us about how amazing they think Cape Town is. Today, 3 months later, our expectations are pretty high. We visit the highlights of Cape Town including the table mountain and the famous Sandy Bay naturist beach and figure out of the city can meet our expectations.

By now, most of you will already know our style of pictures. Sometimes they are shot from the back, other times we make sure that a certain object is always covering up certain body parts. Although we’ve learned the hard way (a couple of times) that this is not a guarantee for being allowed on Facebook or Instagram, most of the time we do get away with it. Knock on wood…
But let’s talk about the attribute in this picture. A lot of people ask us what we eat when we’re traveling a...

We knew that we were going to be up for a treat when Neels sent us the instructions for how to get to Bare Necessities. It included a hand-drawn map filled with terms like "dirt road", "bus shelter turn right", "wooden farm stall turn right", and "house with green roof is not Bare Necessities". Most naturist places we visited in South Africa are tucked away in greenery, but when you get a message li...

We relaxed for a couple of days at the lovely naturist resort Bare Necessities, before starting the last lap of this South Africa road trip. Throughout this trip, Cape Town has quite a symbolic meaning. It was the end point of our trip, the direction we just kept following. But now that the city is less than an hour's drive away, that feeling gets a bit double. The end is near. So we decided to extend our road trip by doing a small detour around the Cape Town peninsula.

Naturism has always been promoted as a family-friendly thing, best enjoyed when you take your partner and your kids. For the large majority of naturist resorts around the world, families are still the preferred type of guest. But for a couple of years, we've been seeing a rapid increase of resorts that'll ask you to leave the kids at home.
In the mind of the cautious naturist travell...

Many countries have their epic road trips, like the Route du Soleil in France, the Panamerica in Latin America, or Route 66 in the USA. In South Africa, we found the Route 62, which would take us to ostrich farms, wineries, a place to go skinny dipping, a very short hiking trail, and a shop with a very peculiar name.

It keeps baffling us how many naturists we know around the world. Every time when we scroll through our phones, we see all these foreign numbers popping up, from places where we have ended up one day or another. We can roughly divide them in two categories: Airbnbs and naturists.
Airbnbs because this is where we spend many of our nights and it's always a good idea to be able to communicate with...

One thing that has always annoyed us, is that nude beaches are rarely the most beautiful beaches. Well, sometimes they are. For example in Benidorm (Spain), one could say that the huge white sand urban beach is much more beautiful than the rocky cove further down the road where the naturists tend to reside. But once the city runs full in the summer and that main beach is packed with red and white bodies so that you can almost not see the sand anymore… It’s hard to still call it beautiful ...

We imagine that you're shouting "YES, of course", after you've just read the title question of this blog post. Our answer is a bit more complicated, as you probably imagine since we're ab...

It hasn't always been easy to find places in South Africa where we could get naked. And we have to admit that we've had our occasional "illegal" skinny dip. But this place didn't only allow us to swim without bathing suits, they actually encouraged it!
As far as we know, the strip tease trail is a unique concept in the world and even though Lins was not a big fan of the Bottomless Pool, it's still our favourite hiking trail in the country!
