In Poppy, all written text actually uses a set of characters called "Onglish" which features altered vowels.Uppercase "E" is represented in Onglish as a closed rectangle, and as a result, the first part of Ewe-Lala's name ends up looking like a little face when written in all-caps.This was naturally too good to pass up for a character so obsessed with presenting a cute image, so I worked it into her signature/in-universe logo with a couple of horizontal sheep pupils to complete the look.
