Hey everyone!
I thought I'd make a video for this month's Q&A this time around. I have a feeling its going to be better to do it this way moving forward since most people can't make it to the stream.
This way everyone is still able to watch on their own time and I can get a little bit more detailed with my responses.
I hope this helps you and please feel free to ask for any clarifications, I'll get back to you as soon as I can in the comments!
If you want to be on ...

(REMINDER: Tomorrow is the second Q & A livestream! Tune in here at 11AM EDT!)
Please enjoy the full - res PNG and the timelapse video above!
I'll get straight to the details about this since you can read more on my recent Instagram post. I took a ton of screenshots of one of Lisa's TikTok videos and decided to draw them all! This was something I already shared with you earlier, but I wanted to go ahead and finish them up as a way to practice my new drawing style for faces mor...

I also wanted to share the timelapse footage for this early as well, so you don't have to wait until the end of the month! I'm actually glad I couldn't draw alot the past few weeks. It's really increased my enjoyment.

Here's my first homework assignment for my Figure Drawing course that Will Weston is teaching! It starts this weekend and we have homework we have to do before the zoom call. Here's the link to the website if you are interested. I think I'll keep sharing just my homework as I go. I'm sure you all would be interested!
This assignment was just for us to give Will an idea of where we are at. The focus was to draw figures quickly, using an 8 head+ hands measuring system. This was actually v...

Hey Everyone! I hope you are off to a great Monday / Labor Day here in the US.
I thought I would share with you all the rough pass of my next studio tour video! You all get to see it an entire week in advance! This is what I have been slaving over for the past two weeks, editing nearly 200 clips totaling 4+ hours of footage, to fit into one 15 minute video. I think 95% of this video has something changing every 8 seconds or less, which is the current human attention span lmao. I am expe...

Only one page of sketches...I have a few more but I'll save those for the next few pages.
I've been SOOO busy preparing for my return with youtube but I am almost done! I can't wait to get back to drawing everyday.
With these sketches, the main goal was to return to gesture. I felt like I have gotten a little too choked trying so hard to draw from imagination that I lost what's most importa...

How often would you like to see my drawings/studies?
Also sorry for the spam today, but I wanted to get a feel for how often you all would like to see things from me! I personally see this as like a premium access Instagram account, rather than only posting rewards at the end of the month. However, I know many of you are getting emails from other creators you are supporting.
I will always post the full batch at the end of the month regardless. Please don't worry about me, pi...

Hey Everyone! I hope you have had a great start to your weekend!
For this week’s sketch dump, I wanted to highlight some struggles, as it was a rough week compared to the others. Not only did I spend less time drawing than I would have liked, but I found myself battling the frustration of creating inconsistent level quality even what felt like hour after hour. Some drawings were great one day, then bad the next, some great the first half of the day, then terrible the second. I’m rea...

Hey everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Please enjoy this week's sketches!
This week was a huge one for me and I want to share some plans that I won't be making public for at least the next several weeks. To put it simply, I have decided to start delving into animation! (don't tell anyone xD) I'm keeping it quiet because its a ton of work to even start my first one and I don't want to talk about doing stuff and lose the passion for doing it. But I wan...

Hey Everyone! I hope your week has been off to a great start so far.
I wanted to share what I have been doing lately to prepare for a huge upcoming challenge...still a secret for now. I have been following along to the skull portion of the course ' Med's Map' from Ahmed Aldoori. (this exercise is not part of the course, its just what I wanted to do instead of the assigned homework lol) It has been amazingly helpful to realize how easy it is to construct stylized faces after ...

Hey everyone! Happy Friday.
I just thought I'd share what I've been sketching lately on a regular basis, but not sure about the frequency. I think having more than just a few drawings is best though.
The first 3 pages are done in procreate, the rest were done in Clip Studio Paint. Some thoughts this week is that I need to start studying how to stylize anatomy more. My faces are quite stylized already, but for some reason, my default bodies are too realistic. You can see on t...

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share a cool way to practice seeing and thinking in perspective when it comes to the human body irl.
The subtle tilts that each person has as they move around (mainly in the head, torso, and pelvis) are so crucial to creating a believable and dynamic figure and pose. I tend to exaggerate them alot, to the point where I lose sight of the overall perspective of the scene. I did this practice to help train my eye a bit to see how subtle the changes can...

This will be a long post but I want to detail the highlights of my improvement so far.
Images marked with “Imaginative” were largely (if not completely) based on imagination, where the others were heavily based on reference. I’m talking like…HEAVILY based on ref.
As you swipe through the images, they will get more and more recent, and improve in quality and understanding. However, there is a BIG jump right between 2020 and 2021. This is because I got fed up with my drawin...

I wanted to share a couple drawings I was proud of here that I took from screenshots from moving images (video & gifs) I find that there are times where there is a certain rhythm that I want to capture when watching something. In this moment, I encourage you to take screenshots immediately and start exploring. In the first one it was a casual moment with two women walking, but there was a certain rhythm and sway I wanted to capture - unfortunately I realized it would be impossible without...

Many of us THINK we are learning, however I have heard of countless stories of people feeling like they haven't moved an inch for years. After watching this video, you will know exactly how to prevent this with anything that you try to learn in the beginning.
In a couple weeks, look out for the first tutorial on how to properly use references!
Again, please feel free to share any questions, comments, or feedback!

First video in the 2 part introduction!
Many of us have incorrect and harmful expectations and assumptions about what the learning process looks like. In this video, I hopefully release you from those, as well as help open your eyes to how we really learn, and how others have done it in the past.
Please feel free to leave feedback, I'd love to hear it :)

So some of you saw the edited version of this that I posted to Youtube but I had to save a little bit extra for you guys here on Patreon! I am not as comfortable sharing my old work (mainly my old digital work) but there are some big lessons learned that I want to share with you guys. So I got into digital art in 2014 and for some reason I was desperately trying to be popular. Every single piece you see there has been traced from a photograph/screenshot. I thought it was a waste of time...

So many of you have joined this month and I am happy to know you are interested in more :) This is my current color Palette that I work with for my artwork.
