This week, I'll just be talking in general. So first

Game Update:

I tried to work more on the game but it was when my art funk was slowly coming back. I did get more of the options menu understood, got a mute button and resolution down. As well as learning how to divide the audio and assign them to each volume slider lol :p

That being said, I think I focused too much on the options cause gameplay got nothing done, unfortunately.

So this week, I've been struggling to do a lot of progress while also wanting to play Brothership while also dealing with some weird art funk~

But progress was made, and game wise, I can say plenty of it!

So I will explain in the weekly why I don't got a lot here done, but here is some of the rough animation done. I think I am gonna focus more on inbetweening first before I continue doing rough animations. Probably helps more if I do it that way lol

Silly Pops: Knock-Off Doll

This was an idea I had when thinking about making a Makeshift campaign for a Blake Doll. Don't know when I'll do something like that but with Twitter crumbling and starting over with Bsky, I feel I should wait a bit before I know I have a dedicated audience who can make that dream into a reality

Weekly Update: Nov 8, 2024

Okay... I don't have much to update on, except that the storyboard of the first GLaDOS animation is done~

Game wise, not much except I know how making a character in Godot somewhat works. Hopefully next week I got more to show. Very sorry that this week has been minimal

Just a lot of thing, elections, the post-election mood, Brothership release...

Yeah a lot happened this week lmao!

But I promise, next week they will be a lot to report both animation and game wise!

First day of November and its the first update of the month!

Well, I spent most of the week collecting and trying to edit together a string of scenes (with the lines) to animate over before giving up and deciding a better thing to do is to animate each line individually. unless of course I can edit together a few lines to animate a 1 min portion lmao

Suggest GLaDOS lines to animate

Well, animating GLaDOS voicelines snuck into first place to my surprise. Truth be told, if it ended in a tie, I was gonna flip a coin.

But alas

Anyways, I will be animating a couple of GLaDOS voicelines, picking my favorite. Maybe roughly 10 lines? Maybe more.

However, if there's a line you really hope I'll do, tell me! I honestly have no limit currently to how many I'll do. There's like 30min of voicelines to choose form out of the Portal 2 lines. I dunno if I'll do Portal...

BNB Update: Assets Done

Here's an update on the Buffet Night Bursting Bonus Song

The assets are mostly done, until I get the song and plan out more animations to go along with it~

So here is what I am gonna do. Come Friday, I will contact my composer again and ask for progress on the song. If its not done yet, I will post a video showcasing the assets, using the Roses Song and will consider that project, for time being, as done!

Probably should've said this in the big announcement post but real quick, the list games to choose from will focus more on smaller projects even after I do this one simply cause I wanna make the other concepts too and don't want bigger projects taking away their opportunities to be made.

So think of it as tiers of games to choose from

The 3D Model of Charge Bot is mostly done. Substantially, over all. Like there's a lot I could do to fix or smooth or finess this, but overall, I'm kinda done working on it. I'm happy with what I've learned

So I finished this early! Lmao! I just got a bit excited to finally have this old animation done that I took some of my free time to finish this!

So enjoy this early access to the last Silly Pops Animation a friend voiced for me years ago. Unfortunately, said friend has since lost contact with me, I have no clue how to reach them. So I can't link to who voiced these characters. I apologize.
