Yesterday I painted this sword in a NMM style. I am editing the video right now and hoping to get it uploaded as soon as possible!

This will be part one of painting the Lion. I have already started painting the Gold and you will get a video for that this week as well! I am really enjoying it so far, tried some new recipes which I think you will find easy to follow. Looking to get a really nice finish on this one so hope you enjoy it too!

TAGS and Void Dragon pt.2

Quick update, I realised I hadn't popped the second part of the Void Dragon video up on here. 

More importantly I've gone back through all our posts so far and added tags so you can search more easily for the types of content that interests you. This will become more and more useful as we crank up the content. I've kept them simple for now with model type/main colours/games systems/techniques. E.g. Space Marines, Red, 40k, weathering.

Awesome but easy snow basing!

Forest Base Part 1: Water Effects and Rocks

Base progress!

Hey all!

Just wanted to update you on this weeks tutorial I am working on.

It hasn’t turned out exactly how I planned, which was going to be a simple split of:

Week 1: Painting the base

Week 2: Water effects

Instead I have painted the river bed, and a minimal amount on the rest. I just poured the water today, so now I have to wait two days for it to dry! I think this way works better, so if you make any mistakes with water you didn’t waste so much time inve...

Our new project!

So, this coupled with a few personal things is why we've been a little quiet the last few weeks.

We've been working on this project for a few years and can't wait to share it with you all. There's going to be a ton of great tutorials coming from it as well.

It's been an interesting year so far but we are really looking forward to the next few months where hopefully you'll like what we've got lined up for Youtube and here.

Draxus Masterclass Part 5: Face and Base

So here we go, final part of the masterclass! It is an 78 minutes beast! I tried a different style of filming and audio for this one as I explain. This allows me to do much longer videos which I hope you enjoy. Kyria Draxus Masterclass Part 3: Baby Dragon!

Happy weekend everyone! You could argue that the baby pet dragon is the thing that makes this miniature the most unique. I certainly like what it does for the composition.  Probably the most straightforward tutorial so far, its mostly about painting sharp and tight.

How are you finding the pace of these tutorials? Too fast, too slow? For me, I think it will take e 5 weeks for the miniature, and so 5 tutorials. This feels very fast, I would usually like around 2 months for a figure ...

Draxus Masterclass Part 2: Cloak and Skull

Hey Everyone! This week was going to be the cloak, but I decided to add the skull as well so it took a little longer than normal to make. But hopefully that gives you plenty to sink your teeth into! 

In the tutorial you will see me use Naggaroth Night. I also recommend Phoenican Purple if you have it, it is a nice stepping stone between NN and the Violet. All depends on the look you want.
