Hi all,

For this week's youtube video i decided to spend a bit more time focusing on a single element of a paint scheme. It's something i'd like to do more frequently rather than paint an entire mini start to finish. Let me know if you'd like this type of thing. It would then allow me more time to focus on larger projects.

Painting a Bust With Rim Lights

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the comments on the last two videos. I decided to continue from those and do a more advanced version of the previous bust light.

In this I use a photography style technique using “rim lights” which frame the face really well. This is similar to OSL, but has very specific placement and purpose. Have a google if you are interested, here are a couple articles to give you some knowledge.

Valkyrie Part 1 - Face

Blood Angels army

Hi all,

This week im starting a 2 parter ( maybe 3 if we think it warrants it) on developing a scheme for a marine army. I'm on a Heresy kick right now so the plan is to go through from the very start of how i'd paint up a high end gaming army. Infantry as an example this week and then adapting the scheme for a vehicle next week.

NB I'm not actually starting a aBlood Angels army don't worry ;)
